Unfortunately I do find that some for what ever reason will latch on to what they want to hear and interpret a possibility (which of course it was) as a probability.

13:12 although the ASX report in cents to one place of decimals the deals are done to 0.05c as far as I can see, look at the intraday chart on HC, very difficult to judge the effect between ASX & AIM as markets operate very differently.

TD that was humour, our progress maps would suggest we have worked from the Dalton in any case, don't doubt that in certain situations crews simultaneously work from different points particularly when pre packing, but unless you flew them in how do you get the water tankers to the other end?, possibly in the existing working units there are more access points.

The stated optimum for ice road building seems to be -20 deg F (-28deg C) if you take into account windchill then it has been plenty cold enough, obviously helps with freezing the water when sprayed but perhaps interferes with getting the water to the spraying trucks, but I am guessing, if you have ever experienced minus 30 deg C then you will know nothing is easy.

Any way as long as we spud ~ 1st March we should have time a plenty to drill, test and demobilise.

other views or do you mean other opinions? could be umpteen reasons why BP did not go back in 1991, other projects, availability of rigs, just the fact that Prudhoe Bay was successful.
After all the geographical position did not change between BP taking the decision to spud and the next drilling season.

Think it was a time when the discoverers were looking at lots of locations eg Sourdough & Yukon Gold, which although successfully in finding oil were probably too remote at the time to develop, could well be the same with Malguk#1 but I have not seen a definite statement from BP.

Malguk-1 encountered oil shows with elevated resistivity and mud gas readings over multiple horizons during drilling but was not tested due to complications towards the end of operations, which resulted in lack of time before the close of the winter drilling season. well a few here suggested we lived in fairy tale land to imagine that a Farm Out agreement would ever happen.
still thinking about Premiers statement last August that they had been looking at Alaska for two years, possibly had alternatives picked us to partner with, 2 none execs with Alaskan experience and plenty of BP links existing.
