I think the "virus panic" has been pandemic in the Western world for the last few weeks :-)

16/21 of my AIM watchlist are in the red, not one in the Blue - it's my only comfort apart from the fact that we are close to spud on appraisal well of an existing discovery in Alaska.

21:27 HM remember PMO hold a 60% working interest and have majority financed the drill, they may have an influence on how news is released.
I am not saying it will be a monthly report I used that as an example that ASX Companies are not obliged to release weekly reports as some have suggested.
What I am saying is there is little obligation for us to release operational reports unless there is a material hydrocarbon discovery or a "major event", so be prepared.

ASX only specify a "material hydrocarbon discovery" nothing else! see rule 3.1 ASX.
So it is up to us how and when we report operations and we now have a major partner who may influence the way and manner we release news.
I take nothing for granted.

BB32 perhaps it time for a change of operational reporting and the reporting has to meet PMO's expectations as well, doubt they will be happy if there is a twitterati scandal again.

Do you not think page7 of the presentation is the " drilling timetable and testing program" after all it gives days to TD and days for flow testing, I do wonder if DW will not give to much detail this time (perhaps on advice of PMO).
I also note that reporting will be governed by "materiality and continuous disclosure obligations" - ASX rules 3& 5.

Sure the initial hole 17.5" will be cased at between 2500 & 3000', BOPE will need to be installed and tested as well so its probably going to be 6 days before we get past 3000'. all will have to be done per AOGCC regulations.
No great worry hopefully more time for the SP to move in a positive direction :-)

Icewine # 2 was also a 3000' initial section, this when we need a Garry Morrison type :-))

For the Winx drill the Cellar installation was complete prior to rig arriving on site, the guys will waste no time I believe in getting things moving .

Riv, always struck me as strange that many who say that POO is of no relevance to us as we are not a producer , will suddenly start talking about POO in times of uncertainty, we all know the FO deal would done on forward projections but daily POO certainly has implications for shareholder sentiment at the very least.
We are invested (at least some of us) in the oil industry, why not take an interest in probably the most important number.
