Yet again another day of this stock attempting to sustain breaking 400 but getting dragged down. It goes through then gets pulled back for some reason
Someone is ensuring this doesn’t go above 400. Anytime it breaks the 400 mark it gets pushed back down again. I suspect when it does break it’ll really fly
Completely agree with your comments. This stock is now significantly undervalued. Some hedge funds funds have departed now, which I believe is the reason for the drop.
I’m now waiting patiently for that ride back up north again. Does anyone have any predictions as to when that will happen?
Shorts will be leaving soon hopefully. The property sales ensured any profit this year, but that trick can’t be pulled again
That’s correct. The city central property assets haven’t been valued in years, and we all know what property prices have been like.
Some tough decisions have been made, which gives me confidence in this stock Conti using this upward trend
Pump and dump made me chuckle
I think the short positions will close soon and this will head back to post covid levels. This is definitely a stock to watch if you want medium term results. I can see in 12 months time this being 2000+
GLA
Anyone know the cause of the drop today? Over 6% hit
I agree he is a nob but the company itself has a great business strategy. I see it as an adults McDonald’s. Something reliable and consistent if you visit a new town in uk.
Turn the heating off in the summer and increase the price of a pint from £1 to £1.50 and they’ll take it in. They’ve invested in the high street real estate remember. Only thing a town centre is good for now is food and drink…..
Results this month should be very good. Pubs have been open for long enough for a healthy profit, even with the higher energy costs
Thanks for your response grayling. Your reasons and logic are clear and justified. I’ve been aware of these obstructions but perhaps underestimated their importance.
Although I’d fundamentally disagree with your long term outlook I do appreciate your points and can see why they are indeed obstructions.
Energy prices will certainly be increasing for the foreseeable however I hope the low profit margins aren’t as slim as worrying about the heating bill!
I’m personally heavily invested in the future of this company so fingers crossed big Tim can resolve them. I’m still unsure if he is the right person to take Spoons into the future given eccentric behaviour portrayed by the media.
This company has the potential to be the McDonald’s for adults - time will tell if the board can make it happen.
Tend to agree with Vokes on this one, regulars will be regulars. I highly doubt they're the sort of people who read those reviews. Sometimes the grimiest of places are the favorites for some.
Interim results are to be announced in March. All notional comments here would suggest positive
If we cut all oil imports from Russia - surely this can only be good for BP's profits?
Having briefly looked at it, BP appears to have limited investments in Russia. Any thoughts / opinions welcome =)
Does anyone know what's holding this stock up? It appears largely undervalued now everything is opening up again.
As others have suggested, the country is open for good this time so I can't see why this can't return to pre-covid levels rather quickly. Perhaps investors need confidence in the form of positive results. Either way, I can only see this stock going largely north.
very true! Logic and reason isn't always the case with the markets
Results are out tomorrow. I can’t foresee them being anything but positive, however with the recent rises I’d expect modest gains. 165-166 here we come?
Good luck everyone
Yes! Thanks Hollamatronic.... I don't know why I thought they were today
Anyone signed in to watch the live results? Fingers crossed for more good news
I've just bought prior to next weeks announcement. Things appear to be back to normal trading now so I predict this will be heading north.
If positive, the announcement might be enough to push this over the big 1000 mark for good.
275p is more than possible. I’ve just taken advantage of the current bargain price. A stock to watch for sure
