Can I ask WHY you are on here. As an investor who has the GRUMPS? or a troll with an agenda to follow? There are folk who seem to have a natural aversion to those in charge of companies. Rome was not built in a day--and I dare say many mistakes were made along the way---that way you learn if you have any savvy!! With quite a limited budget SS and his Team have developed UKOG to where it is today--on the verge of great things. If you are an investor here then do not expect quick fixes. If that is your goal you might as well go down to the bookies and bet on the horses and hope for your quick fix. I have faith in SS to do the right thing and get results LTH want. As to shares--there is only ONE director who has shares---as I understand it they are all in a Closed period to buy shares because of the devlopment stage UKOG is in and YES it could be interpreted as Insider Trader--of sorts. I could be wrong of course--as you could but time will tell and I am sticking with it, because that is my prerogative!!

Ref Ramping and SS--I agree SS made some mistakes at BB and may have been a contributory factor for the hike in the sp then---we will see how it turns out when he goes back there. They say they learned a lot from BB and I think SS also learned a lot about what to say, when and how, hence the now long periods of silence. Does not matter how big we are we can always learn--we learn from the cradle to the grave! Hopefully THIS coming week will give us more than just crumbs of hope??

The market decides the sp NOT SS---one well mothballed---nothing wrong with that? Other well not producing much--How do we know that? We are waiting for Flow test results, FLOW TEST not PRODUCTION amounts. Flow Testing and production are two different things. Diluted shares? Maybe but sometimes one has to speculate to accumulate! By buying up other companies interests in The Weald. BUT in the end the proof of the pudding etc. If you do not like UKOG or SS and are invested maybe you should get out? and concentrate your efforts on something YOU consider more POSITIVE?? Just saying!

I have to challenge your comments about SS--Ok a few hickups with BB but generally he is doing things in a calm measured way. He cannot be expected to issue an RNS every time there could be a snippet of news. RNS�s cost money to issue so would you wish him to waste money issuing an RNS every 5 mins?? No, tell us what you think he has done so wrong so far? He has a good plan for UKOG in the Weald. Take a look at their web site and see the graphics for multiple oil wells, all concealed under ground so as to be as environmental as possible. he does not shoot his mouth off and make rash statements. Far rather a steady as you go and get things right even if it takes longer than we(who no very little about the oil industry) want. He would not be buying up other companies interests in The Weald if he thought it was going to fail. Maybe to spice up the debate you can come back with the issues you have against SS? Cheers

Good morning LYN---good little posts this morning--a lot calmer on THIS side??? Hope all is well. next week UKOG COULD give us some data and move the sp in the right direction. The oil is there and they will do everything to get it out and in good quantities. All doubters IMO are like---I used to be undecided but now I am not so sure!! My glass is MORE than half full.

Many thanks--I live in Spain for now and the treatment here in Andalucia is absolutely wonderful and staff so caring and cheerful. Various scans including full bone scan which was clear. Granada has a FULL medical site with hospital and many other specialty buildings---gives you full confidence and hence less worry. I also had a heart attack several years ago and I was admitted, checked and back home in 8 days all procedures and treatment completed!!

Good thoughts are with you and your family. I have just been going through my own situation and radiotherapy and waiting for--hopefully--positive results in Oct---hopefully as I was tested annually--as most men of a certain age should be-- it was caught early. I too am VERY positive, back playing badminton, padel and gardening---if ones blood is active and healthy one stands a very good chance of beating it!! Good luck!! I have said before one can have all the money in the world but if one has not got ones health you cannot enjoy it!!

Yes DL certainly creates some different opinions. IMO a rather cavalier guy at times, and business needs such people---Alan Sugar and Philip Green two others. these are the Marmite guys of industry--I do not dislike the guy but maybe I just prefer SS as a more level headed guy who does things in a more measured way.
As for UKOG and ANGUS not in Angus but am in Alba) agree that the next few weeks should be very interesting and the results from The Kimmeridge zones may well be the foundation for things to come---I hope so.
BTW--Lynthip been a little scarce on here lately? Met her--nice lady.

Just got in and read the posts today--and have to say IMO I think you are wrong about SS. He is an experienced geologist who knows a damn sight more than any of us on here!! Yes he may have made a few cavalier statements about BB and withheld ino to the market when the drill went wrong, but he is human like all of us and a few mistakes along the way we all make. No doubt because of BB he is now more cautious about what he says and when. I have more faith and trust in him than Mr DL!! As heid rightly said earlier, a lot of info was gathered from BB--more than we will know or understand and that will have been extremely valuable at HH and other sites yet to be developed---and when they do go back to BB!!

SP has a puncture!! Been flat all morning!

I have to disagree with your opinion on TANKERS. Surely you would be worried if NO tankers were seen coming out? The more tankers that would be seen obviously means the flow is faster as on site tanks could not cope with the flow---but we will see. Yes we know there is oil there but what is not known is --How much can be got out--how the flow rate goes, and how long it can be sustained, hence the other comment on a BIG BOY snapping up UKOG is totally misplaced. NO big Boy is going to come in until not only HH and BB is proved but many other areas of The Weald. No Big Boy is going to come in on the results and hype so far, so let us put THAT opinion/comment to bed--for now! Maybe a long way down the line, but let us first get the oil out in quantities that will get a good response from the SP??

Starbright-thanks---yes it was only my opinion and yes although here rears ago I feel I am now in a better place at LSE rather than ADVFN with a poor history of monitoring posts. All opinions should be welcomed whether one agrees with them or not, not healthy to have a one sided view?

Do you not think it would be good to se--say-20 tankers in a week rather than two---surely would give a more positive indication that things were moving in a better direction??

Agreed--maybe things are looking so god that SS wants to deliver a blockbuster of an RNS declaring the whole site very commercial--that would be good and no doubt have some positive effect upon the sp--at long last. it is my belief that because of the events surrounding BB and the known mistakes make that the market is now cautious about letting the SP fly until things are PROVEN beyond doubt. SS appears to be a conservative tye of chap but did become a little cavalier in his comments at BB--Lesson learned!!

Good morning all. Maybe they are waiting for some initial news on the Kimmeridge before releasing the OFFICIAL commercialism of The Portland. To me it is strange that is taking a fair time to declare Portland positive. Hopefully next week we will begin to see tankers coming out. Their regularity may give us a clue as to how much oil there may be. We all may be getting frustrated but I guess with BB turning out the way it did first time around SS is being cautious as to what he says and when---he wants to get things 100% right---no Lenigas type comments!!
