We do not know what kind of testing they are doing at present and what their planning is for getting ride of the oil they are currently getting out, but at Portland we saw quite a number of tankers, so would have hoped to have seen more here by now as the Kimmeridge is considered the key player. No reports yet from on site spies today?? This is not going to be a quick fix so RNS will be some time coming I would GUESS!!

Stocktaker--I bought in at various prices but am 3.9% to the good ATM!!

pa richards---Not trying to speak FOR them, just an opinion! BUT a while to go IMO until we get full results and flow tests from Kimmeridge bearing in mind the test period has a while to go yet--and a lot more nonsense posts will be made no doubt?? Maybe we can all look forward to a nice Xmas present from UKOG??

pa richards--yes fairly new BACK on here and AM a LTH, and YES share your sentiments. Too many wanting a quick fix, but even I am a little disappointed at level of SP bearing in mind the progress and good news made not only by UKOG but The Weald in general. AIM has certainly changed over the past few years from a GOOD hike in positive news to where we are today. Rightly you say PATIENCE, as there is no option if one wants to see a healthy return on ones investment. I have bought and stick with it, not into day trading or coming in going out. LOTS of nonsense from many posters and rash predictions based on crystal ball type statements!! Did I buy wisely?? Well my holdings are STILL in profit, but only just!!

The SP is what it is, and no LTH can be happy!! IMO it will drift south until we get good news on KIMMERIDGE? to a lowere level then may spike--folk will then say wow its gone up by 10--15% and only reach 2p. Anyone wanting to make money here is in for the LONG haul or VERY LONG haul!!

I think SS is now very careful with his RNS statements since his cavalier comments at BB. Nothing wrong with ´Potential´or if successful and similar comments. Has to cover his backside or could end up with egg on his face AGAIN!! I would far rather SS comments than DL´s comments at times over the top--slowly slowly catchy monkey, comes to mind??

cockenhoe--Agree---with the exception of a few on here, none of us have any oil industry experience, so it is ALL guess work--Sp, recoverable oil, flow rates etc, We can comment all we like but it is UKOG and other Wealders who have the real information and we have to wait for RNS´s to give us the real facts!

Lyn--Think you misunderstood my post---Did not mean to convey that a major would wait years before coming in, meant the oil would have to be proven, by the experts, to have a flow rate that would last for years.

Vernony---the irony of the ESSO comment is that it is they--I believe--who in the 1970´s missed the oil in The Weald. OK they did not have the technology available today but I understand they drilled straight through what we have today believing that oil could not be at such a shallow depth. AS to that olf chestnut of a major coming in?? Would you invest in something that is not proven in large quantities over many years?? Oh yes we have invested in UKOG!! Ha Ha---but you get my drift. A major may well come in at a later date, if/when the WHOLE Weald is proven to a much much higher level.

Vernony--Do not know what Boyzee is on about--never mind---as to Esso and the ´Pipeline¨!! it is--I understand--a fuel pipeline for aviation fuel to Gatwick. Until, and if/when all HH and The Weald becomes commercial everything will go by road. Pipelines/Railways lines are and VERY expensive commodity!! Again these kind of comments are usually made by people who have little or no knowledge and all they are doing is speculating. Best to keep quiet if you do not know something is 100% FACT!!

All these opinions about where the sp will be, should be, is TOTALLY out of our control. NO ONE has a clue now as to where the sp will end up this week, next week, next month or next year. We are all in the hands of a system which at best SEEMS broke and an increasing number of people much better qualified than me are trying to do something about it. Over on ADVFN there is an increasing debate over complaints to the regulators and what will they do--NOTHING is my opinion as one always has to have concrete proof that something is being manipulated and in the money markets that is VERY difficult to prove. We will have to see, but certainly things have changed dramatically from a few years ago when news we have had from UKOG would have sent the sp spiraling UP. Something definitely seems to be not quite right, what it is is a mystery. So, all this talk of where one thinks the sp will be is a complete nonsense (unfortunately)!!

I do not think any right minded person would dispute that todays RNS is VERY good nothing negative about it at all---ONLY the sp!! BAD NEWS AND SP WOULD HAVE BEEN WORTHLESS??

jptop--Exactly---it was 10p for a very short while, we have had EXCELLENT news several times since and the sp has done nothing but drop, it beggars belief, someone is taking the p out of us investors. Bit tired of hearing--This will come good, don,t worry. Never known an sp which has had such good news regularly and has only a negative effect on sp!
