The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode with London Stock Exchange Group's Chris Mayo has just been released. Listen here.
Their comments on North Rukwa specifically interests me, if it is all fiction as you suggest then hopefully it is NOT our direction of travel. Personally I'm glad I hold HE1 not Noble so appreciate your sentiments CP
I think Lorna is genuine and happy to hold for as long as it takes to find out!
Think the Noble investor webinar tomorrow between 12 and 13.00 will give us some clues to our direction of travel. If you follow their X twitter thread its on there to register.
Well done!
I entered a marathon many years ago now, I cant tell you how difficult it was to remove the peanuts afterwards!
The 'pot of gold' at the end of the rainbow will be empty by the time we get there. That's what most of AIM is all about with pi's funding the entire journey!
I thought that the whole purpose of the fundraise at such a disappointing price was to enable us to stay independent and grow into the true value of what has actually been developed here?
It would be ironic if the now decimated SP made an attempted bid by BP far more likely and achievable, not only because of the SP but because it has lowered shareholders expectations and probably deflated us in the short term?
I haven't looked at the accounts but presume that the 'legal fees' were a debtor that has now been removed?
A bit like getting divorced and your lawyer ends up with a share of your house alongside your ex?
I can add 'Helium Two' to my Helium One now !
CH and the team are much better prepared this time round and I do wonder if the insurers are having a say given it’s their money as part of this ?
So on that basis why would anyone bid knowing they can lose it to GGP
Will Newmont encourage bids to try and up the price to us ?
AL-ACTOR
Agree and I am a LTH, think this will still end in a BP buyout but not until 2025+
Disappointed that they didn't do this at 70p or more given how quickly it has been oversubscribed, but maybe there was urgency to do this for reasons we don't yet know?
Almost hoping this SP level is still around for new ISAs on 06 April
The most disappointing thing personally is that the shorter's always get it right, I've seen similar with two other AIM shares I hold and worry about my judgement to sell early on the obvious signs! Trouble is I then become like them, but who actually wins? Not me. Glad I have only got 5 AIM shares TBH
Might be knocking on the GGP door?

Looking at the suggestions you will have to ask yourself!
I’ve six AIM shares expecting one to hit the stratosphere, two to do ok and three to bomb.
This is probably my third bomb going off and HE1 was definitely my biggest mistake.
Tried to be sensible in this savage market by avoiding a 'raise' and achieved the same outcome by telling us that.
Just shows how a 'risk off' sentiment destroys value however you go!
Absolutely DTW !
For me this investment is designed to benefit my long term retirement pot BUT having lost three very good
friends to cancer over the last five years its also my way of supporting an oncology revolution.
This mornings presentation is both poignant and exciting, well done Team Avacta.
