Not DCM!

Just been looking into DCM Media. They are fairly similar to us, they have a group of companies and make a lot of factual based TV programmes. Looking into their financials they don’t really look quite as strong as us (apart from profit, which we know ours is due to increase significantly anyway). FY: £8.8m Revenue, £2.8m profit, operating loss £0.01m, EBITDA £0.8m Interims (released 29.09.17): £4.9m revenue, £1.5m profit, EBITDA £0.5m, Cash of £1.7m, debt £0.1m. Looks like they have also seen a restructuring and turnaround of the business. Market Cap is £13.34m (only 2.54m shares in issue!). This tells me that we should be trading at least 3 times higher than we are now, providing we manage to report a good profit in the interims next March. Plus more value could be added through acquisitions we make between now and then.

I reckon the next 6 months will be great, and the potential could be even greater beyond that.

I'm guessing it would be issuing more shares. It will dilute but if you're buying a company that has cash and assets, effectively that will then be priced in with our market cap. So it doesn't necessarily mean that it will make our SP fall, if anything it should do the opposite.

Excuse the spelling mistakes, I was typing on my phone. It’s crazy how we dropped about 30% in March when the interims were released. Now we’ve had great FY results it stays static. Perhaps people are waiting to see what happens regarding a placing. I’m hoping that it will be at a premium and it doesn’t make the SP sink too much. In theory, a premium placing along with a strong acquisition should see this fly.

Assets at £12.55m Revenues of £19.76m Cash at £2.97m Market Cap: £5.73m ...Ok, profit isn't huge but the have stated that this will grow significantly, and that's without any acquisitions. Should see big growth here over the next 6 months. An acquisition could be close, found this bit in the RNS: "We are making progress on discussions with certain acquisition targets and hope to update on out progress in this regard in due course".

Agree Sbuild, it doesn't make sense. I reckon most traders are only interested in buying into risky oil and gas stocks nowadays. Maybe this is a bit too boring for them. I think the SP will correct itself over time. I'm happy to wait and keep adding when I can at this price. Bargain!

Be good when that 500k seller runs out of shares, maybe then we can make a decent move upwards. I reckon we will be making an acquisition within the next month. Hold on to your shares!

amina52, if I got in at 0.64p I wouldn't have any worries at all. You are likely to see a very good return on your investment, I hope we all do. Good luck to us all on the results tomorrow (not that we need it). :)

Wideyed, I know what you mean. We might have seen a bit more of a rise leading up to results with a bit more PR. Anyway, not long to find out now. Somebody got cold feet and sold 1.5m. The bid rose after my buy but it's back down now after those sells. We might only see 15-20% rise tomorrow, but I'm hoping we will do a placing at a small premium and make an acquisition soon. That should give us a real good boost then.

Took 100k. Expecting a rise on results tomorrow, then hopefully a sustained rise for the rest of the year.

Hi sbuild, originally they were going to release the results mid Oct, but have now announced that these will be released next Tuesday. I believe they have done this for a reason. Maybe to get the results out the way then perhaps announce an acquisition shortly after? I think the spread does play a part in putting buyers off, also all the talk about takeovers. As we know the SP fell when they announced the BBSN potential offer. I think that the next time they announce something regarding an acquisition, they will tell us that they have bought something or have made an actual offer, rather than just talks. Also when they released the interim results it was a bit disappointing and the SP fell quite a bit. Perhaps some are being a little cautious and are waiting to see what happens. The thing is, we’ve been told that we are now in profit, so I can’t see how the results would be anything but positive. Also any acquisition would be very positive, as this will allow us to grow, and management have stated they are only interested in buying profitable companies, which they expect to be earnings enhancing by year one. It’s hard not to get excited about the future prospects here, it’s strangely quite though! GL all.

I agree with you shenners. It's all about what happens between now and March. An acquisition or two and a good set of half year results next March could see us at 4-5p. Not sure if I'll get chance to buy more before results now but I'll try.

Yeah you'd think we'd be higher by now but I believe it will get there eventually. In the meantime it gives me a chance to buy more around the penny mark. Hopefully going to get some more next week.

It's just a rubbish period for trading at the moment. Things should get interesting next month and I expect to see a decent rise here. It could take until March next year for this to really fly, but a lot can happen between now and then.

have had a bit of a rise today. Ashley Mackenzie has stepped down and they have had a small issue of equity. Should get our FY results in less than 4 weeks.
