Nah ACI are dead in the water, they have been for the last 12 months. I wouldn't say queues of people but if the JV and placing goes off without any issues, I can see there being plenty of people queuing up to buy BMR shares. I'll be first in line...

I think I figured that word out in your first post haha. Yeah, typical BMR, keep us in the dark, create uncertainty. I was hoping all this was going to be behind us but it's the same old, same old. As long as they deliver that's the main thing lol.

today then... Would have been nice to get one out of hours so we have more time to digest. I'm fairly confident that the JV got signed yesterday otherwise they would have released a quick RNS this morning to say it had been extended. So what's the next step? BMR need to get the placing sorted out, again I am confident this will go ahead. So maybe both BMR and JLP are waiting for this to happen before announcing the JV. It would make sense, especially if JLP are now to take part in the placing too... Update tomorrow anyone? lol P.S. It's gone rather quite on this board but I can't quite work out why... /s

I think we already know Alex is in the UK, it's where he's based. He doesn't need to fly out to SA to sign the JV. It would have been done yesterday at a London office. He was on his way when I called. You don't need to pretend you have shares here. Most of us know you don't but if you want to pretend that's fine.

That was the last placing we had - mid Jan, and we've been suspended since early Feb. No other placing as of yet...

I should do a follow up call but I'll just trust that the JV was signed and it will be announced shortly lol. I'm used to being left in the dark.

JLP already acquired 29% of shares in January.

I don't think their fall can be blamed solely on BMR, but maybe the curse of Kawbe has rubbed off on them a little...

No not spoken to him. You guys must think I call him every day lol. Although I do have a bat phone that calls him directly, and he has a special ring tone for me, it goes "Bring Bring, Bring Bring". I'm just waiting it out for now, news is close...

It's not just us, it's JLP too. They are actually trading at the moment so you would think an early RNS would have been in order.

Actually in JLP's last presentation, they said that construction would commence in May and will take 5 months. That would take us to the end of September deadline. So if the JV was signed yesterday (no reason why not) we should get an update today and then we can crack on with the build.

The old "buy more ready for the recovery" joke. Where's this RNS then? It's a bit of a poor show really. I can't see why they couldn't have signed the JV a week ago, it's been in the pipeline for ages...

Now, now ladies. Let's not have a civil war on the BMR board. It's bad enough having some angry JLP holders and non-BMR holders causing havoc haha. I think AB forgot to take a pen with him to the meeting so I heard the JV might get postponed another couple of weeks. Also JH has shackled himself to the Kabwe gates so we can't start site construction until he has been removed.

I won't be doing it for much longer. Now paddy has gone (R.I.P) I think things will be a little more quite. I think pad encouraged a few others to join in.
