Had a feeling they would RNS the BAFTA. Great work, Zinc Media!

Firstly, I wouldn’t take much notice of broker notes. They are paid to big the company up and always state lofty SP targets that are rarely hit, at least not in the near term.

JLP posted a profit of £0.76m for the 6 month period ending 31 December 2018. I wouldn’t expect them to make much more than £3m for the full year period. Not a huge amount.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but JLP have never reached above 6.5p in the last 5 years. Things have improved greatly since then, but there are a lot more share in issue now. I just don’t see £250m being a realistic value, one year from now. 6p sounds more credible, but I think it will take profits from Kabwe to help reach that stage. Kabwe is still 6-9 months away from being online, and will need a good year before it pays for itself.

That would depend on how long it takes JLP to make the project profitable, and recover their capital investment. I'd say 2 years at least.

One more point... The last few JLP placings have been done around 2.5p. You can't expect BMR to sell at 3.5p when institutions are only paying 2.5p. I'd imagine it's quite tough selling millions of shares when there aren't enough buyers. They were always going to be sold in an orderly fashion, and this meant selling at a discount.

I see where you're coming from Mike, but share price predictions are purely speculation, nobody knows where it will go and usually does the opposite of what you think it will.

JLP could easily languish over the summer. BMR could go up 10 fold on re-listing. Pure speculation but anything can happen.

The main point is, some shareholders want a listing. To be honest, I'm not that fussed and would have waited for the Royalty. Hopefully the listing will help us all out.

Our JLP shares were possibly sold at a cheap price, but how valuable would they have been if we had kept them?

As of 14th December 2018, we held just over 31m JLP shares. At today's close, these would be worth just over £1m. Now, if we double the JLP SP to 6.6p, the shares would be worth £2m and would give JLP a MC of £123m. I think it would take a long time to reach that kind of valuation.

Also worth noting that the 11% Royalty is worth circa £2m a year to us alone, so the Royalty is worth multiples compared to the JLP shares we had.

The cash is supposedly being used for an acquisition and eventual listing back to market. I’m more interested in the Royalty but the listed company could offer a quick way for some shareholders to make some of their money back. It could take 2-3 years before we benefit from the Royalty...

Don’t see the JLP shares as a loss, see it as an opportunity to return to market. At least then your money won’t be tied up and you can take some back if needed.

It shouldn't be a surprise that we sold out of JLP. We are raising money for an acquisition. I always expected BMR to sell the lot.

Well somebody dumped 6.5m shares this morning. They obviously don't have any confidence in Mark Browning, or they needed the cash... I'll be holding because I believe he can grow Zinc Media, hopefully to a MC of £30m+. Patience required!

Yeah he was hoping to have it released by the 6th. Not sure why because it was a bank holiday Monday.

I'm half expecting it to be sent out this week...

Late reply - He talks about Zinc and Vanadium. 1500 tonnes is how much Vanadium they will produce based on the 40tph plant, according to the RNS. He even says 1,500 processing capacity moving into 3,000... Like astonall says, I think they are missing a zero off those figures?

LC says V pentoxide with Zinc concentrate for phase 1. Phase 2 will be V pentoxide, Zinc and Lead metal.

It says "processing" capacity and not "output", so it's confusing. The figures don't add up. In the Kabwe funding RNS it states ramp up from 20tph to 40tph over a 2 year period. In the presentation, LC says phase 2 will be around 5 months after phase 1 is completed, which should be end of 2019. In that case phase 2 would be reached in just over a year from now...

It reminds me of when BMR would release updates on the project. Details were usually vague, misleading, and numbers/dates always changing. I hope JLP will actually hit the timelines and production figures they speak of.

You could be right regarding the pre-processing of material, but where would it be processed? Originally there was talk of building a pre-processing plant at the Kabwe mine site, but I haven't seen this mentioned recently.

I also agree that it's going to take exceptional news to get us back to a good level (1p plus). Even if it rises over time I'm happy, but at the moment it's going nowhere but down.

I'm also slightly worried they might do a discount placing to make another acquisition and to top up working capital... Is Mark about to start loading up on the open market, or is he waiting to buy in cheap via a placing?
