Seen the signs many times they are along my walk 3.5 miles , so I pass them twice weekly on the way to the swimming pool,.except when its precipitating it down .. ................................................................................................................................................Coun Denise Jeffery, cabinet member for regeneration and economic growth, said: “We want to encourage as many people as possible to come along and view the plans for the schemes and speak to ourselves and Harworth Estates about the plans.
“The new road will help ease traffic congestion in Pontefract, improve transport links and tie in with improvements proposed at junctions on Pontefract Road and Town End as well as improvements to Monkhill railway station.”
The first event will be held at Ladybalk WMC, Ladybalk Lane, Pontefract, on Thursday, January 30, from 3pm to 7pm. .. Time for a chat .... !!!!!!!!!
Residents can also give their views on the plans at St Giles’ Church, Market Place, Pontefract, on Friday, January 31 from 3pm to 7pm.
The link road plans will be on show in the main entrance of Pontefract Town Hall from Monday, February 3 to Friday, February 7 between 9.30am to 4.30pm .
