Again....depending on which country you are in....and which market you operate in the MCAP is vastly different.
This will no doubt be used to the detriment of SH's at the lowest level when deals are struck.....IMO.
Think about this......

In SA on the JSE .....its worth more than the UK ...trading at 3c a share....rock solid....hit 4c the other day...check.
In OZ steady at 2....hit 3 the other day ....check.
In the UK.....worth what the day traders deem....check.

@Shedulike...yep ...again its day traders who operate on the basis that any delays in news is bad news...as a long term investor the asset remains the same and I believe that there will be a shift soon in the market to investors who will take control of a bullish market....patience is key :-)

Having read Oiltap, Amaretto's and Martina's posts it looks like Christmas may come early this year :-)
We would be very naïve to ignore these opinions and I tend to agree that the asset is being viewed by many mining houses currently and I will not be surprised if a deal is already being negotiated based on the preliminary scoping study which is being finalized for general publication...I expect two RNS's to be released concurrently. One with the scoping study and the other one a cautionary notice to advise investors that the Toral asset is being sold or JV/'d. Also I am convinced that there is more than one mining house interested. This will be very good for us shareholders as CB will ensure we get the best deal...and play one off against the other. My opinion only but I enjoy scenario planning and this is another one. All thoughts welcome...:-)

Cannot understand traders who sell based on an artifact that is delayed on purpose in order to strengthen the business case for a JV or sale of the asset....makes no sense.
On the other hand it appeared as if the SP was being kept low on purpose....almost like being played out at the moment....short term traders on the wane and LT investors taking over....
Prepare for a bull rush :-) My opinion only of course.

It relies on getting past the Aussie regulations and won't be signed off by them until they're satisfied. This is not an #EUZ hold up but an Aussie one as eluded to by LR in a podcast. It's just box ticking. If people sell then they don't understand the process.

This smacks of market manipulation and keeping the share price down. These types of transactions should be investigated by the LSE.

@Oiltap...Lol..I think everyone on this forum redo estimates on a daily basis....information is flowing and we seem to have a lot at the moment.... also we can interpret this info differently ...what I hope the SS contains is the resource separation costs......will the SS contain this level of detail you think ?.

Thanks Martina. Much appreciate your posts as always. I am sure you are pretty close to the mark and lets see as you say once the SS is out to confirm. I also expect the mining life to be about 20 years now....you think that's reasonable guestimate ?

Volumes are low today...Looks like everyone has taken a position for the release of SS.....don't expect to much action today...IMO....thoughts ?

Trade wars will effectively always exist. If you asking if it will sustain lower prices for Zinc and Lead in the market then I am guessing the answer is yes as the cost of shallow mining is a lot less than deeper mining. Having said this the answer should be confirmed in the Scoping Study due any day now....as it will contain Capex, Opex and NPV and by reading the excitement generated by LR .....this SS by all accounts is on track and will raise plenty interest. IMO.

@Oiltap....this video really made me think about the Scoping study due next week and Nigel Robinsons comments on looking for growth and acquisitions during the 4th Quarter.....the timing seems the thing here...also the fact he mentions Europe...too strong to ignore the possibility of EUZ being suspended immediately the Scoping Study is announced....bet this will stump a few day traders....also no doubt be a very large windfall for us !!!!
Speculating I am but a definite scenario to consider.
