How is next different to boo??
Look at the 5yr SP, youl realise how...
Look at the growth forecasts/trading updates/broker targets each company gives yoy...
You comparing an established almost value/income stock to a growth stock, get real!
A more accurate comparison would be ASOS, oh look it has a PE of 93!
This is hysterical P/E of Next genuinely getting compared to Boo...
I cant even be bothered entertaining this, good luck with your trading/investing career...just to give you an analogy, amazon had a p/e of a 1000 In 2015...people who don't understand p/e would have not bought since p/e is 1000!...5yrs on share price has x6 lol.
P.s learn about P/E ratios first, how they differ on type of stock (growth or value) and the limitations they pose...enjoy.
The shares halved not because of valuation or anything but because of allegations of slave labour...would do the same to any company...scope to even shut it down if criminal activities. Has nothing to do with valuation of comp...
Oh forgot to mention the lightening speed of which an abundant buyers knock it back up on each fall...if it was overvalued, would that happen?
Further knock into perspective for you
Tesla P/E = 1136
Zoom P/E = 521
Etsy P/E = 91
NVDA P/E = 91...
Whilst Boo has a P/E off 59.
High P/Es characteristic of growth companies, if anything i see Boo as undervalued...
Oh and not to mention Boo actually has a P/E hence profitable...theres a plethora of growth stocks out there with multi billion dollar valuations and not turned over a single profit i.e PTON, FSLY...I could go on forever...
Don't even know why I respond to these ridiculous posts tbh but I think when someone compares Next P/E to Boo, that says it all...
@wyndrum, sorry to say but your post makes no sense, because you comparing a rapid growth company to a value play...to knock this into context...
Boo SP 5yrs ago was 32p...today 320p I.e 10x soon to be more when over 400.
Next SP 5yrs ago was £80...today £63.50 I.e decline off approx 25%!
If you looked at PEs you would have missed Boo.
A high p/e is irrelevant and in fact good for all growth companies, its a common characteristic...so you can understand amazon has a p/e off 118 still today...is it overvalued?
Other rapid growth stocks in US like DKNG operating at pe of 925! Its still flying and will continue to do so!
I know which company id be boo or nxt? One will rocket over the years whilst the other plays like a saturated value stock, toppsy turvy...Boo all day!
By all means move onto next if you think its safer. But its fair to say you don't understand how PE works or its limitations.
@Gennyprince, the daily summary is the same everyday till the 30th, it goes like this...
- Boo reacts to overall market, hold till the 30th.
- Boo reacts to overall market, hold till the 30th.

Thats 15days work done, I make that 3.50 x 15 = £52.5...call it £50 between two mates...thanks!
@share expert...you do realise boo was a bigger and more profitable company than asos was before fake news...even now its only £900m behind its mcap...give it till 30th Boo will be bigger again...
As for £50 a share...lol let's not ramp too much...that would give Boo an mcap of £50bn...to knock into perspective BT has an mcap of £11bn atm...
hTtp://tradearabia.com/news/LIFE_372732.html
Middle East line to launch 23/09...Boo has so much going on, its hard to keep up!
Really can't wait for the 30th!
I bought PTON before close on results and sold on opening lol...
At this stage I wouldnt be comfortable holding any tech stocks given how extended they are...only trade...
Tdoc is different it will benefit come winter months, plus its 30% down from year high already due to merger...i will keep longterm...
A biden victory is anything but a forgone conclusion. It was his election to lose but the momentum seems to be shifting now...if a vaccine comes before Nov, call it Trump victory, signed and sealed...tbh even without that, I see him winning...
The protests which were supposed to help Biden, have backfired big time!
Fair analysis...SDGR and Sprout social are two other stocks I made a packet on this year from IPO...i think you have swayed me to sit out, end of the day no one ever lost money from not buying...but i have a lot of friends who will be going in...for me its simple...
-You may pay a high price at ipo and see losses later but in long run will have healthy profits
- If you don't buy, you miss opp altogether if doesnt come back down to ipo price
It all centres around whether you believe a market crash is coming or not i suppose...
They invested in such infrastructure years ago and no one bought into the idea...today the rest will have to make bns in investments to catch up...
Anyways back to snowflake, you buying tmrw Steve, price will be likely $130-150!
@steve @juan...
Interesting fact for you 23 of the last 25 elections, the incumbent president has won when the stock market has done well 3months prior to election...
And as for the polls, they getting closer, not to mention Biden has nowhere near the lead Clinton had on trump in run up to elections and we know what happened there...
I never keep cash, I understand its a position in of itself but not for me, i always think opportunity there...only cash I keep is £20k for trading...
All holdings in profit, any losers I get rid quick...
Boohoo,
Tdoc,
Nio,
Ocado (trading update tmrw)
