I tried to tell those fools on ceo.ca yesterday (OnlyTrading) that the TSX price at 20.25p equilalent was a BARGAIN and that London would buy up everything close to 20p.

Not sure if anyone listened but theres nothing I can do about that.

I will go with something big. I began investing here many years ago based on the drilling at Apta. The prospects have improved significantly in the past year so much so that most people forget about Apta completely! I doubt we will see much PP selling at 20p or lower, and if we go go there tomorrow due to TSX price I will be buying as much as I can including selling other investments to do so.

I would hope Brad is planning an interview or webinar for early next week. Friday would have been best but it should have been scheduled already. Some detail about what the PP funds will be used for may discourage any trigger finger PP holders from locking in small gains.

I note that since Don Durrett's Beaver Creek summary which went viral on X, Orosur is flat, trading at 22p prior to his post. His top pick 1911 gold issued a PP without warrants just as Orosur did, but it is up over 100% since.

We should be pushing that 28p breakout imo, not trading down to the PP price.

MMs must have got pledges to sell PP shares at 20p or above or suchlike. I wonder if the brokers themselves got it on it just for an similar arb? You would have to think that this is PP related given the buying pressure via public exchange data.

For those new to the board, Pepas is expected to be defined as a high grade from surface open-pit mine with very low capex to extract. OMI do not need to build a mine for this but use neighboring facilities. Let's say they have a small extraction operation of 30k oz pa over 10-15yrs, with $15m capex. At profit of $2500 per oz that is $75m pa FCF. And this does not include ANY valuation for the likihood that there are more Pepas style deposits in the area (Pepas North has had high grade samples), or the 2m oz expected at Apta (will be increased via future drilling no doubt), El Cedro valued at 0, El Pantano valued at 0. I have been buying the dip.

They must know there is PP sell orders coming. The only explanation. Similar happened on the day when they issued the PP news, there was huge buying but the price keep falling.

I see it is come up as "deleted" a few seconds after the listed trade time (delayed notification of course). The price at 18p was odd and not something that a retail trader could have done, retail would not be offered a price to sell 2m shares at once. Anyone have any idea what happened here? I sometimes see large trades followed by "deletion" - is it MMs booking trades from one exchange to another or something to this effect?

They are not doing their job if refusing to quote for even small sums of 5k shares. They are trying to shake out sellers by moving the price down.

Josee, you are entitled to your opinion, that is what makes a market, but it is categorically incorrect to say "will impact ability to raise capital". They may well have participated in the recent placing - we won't know until its formally closed.

Josee, not sure what planet you have landed from but it appears that you do not realise that Orosur has just raised $20m which is likely to be enough to get a full plan in place to begin production at Pepas. Management have around 4m shares in options and the market, given the recent raise and Eric Sprott buying in at least 10m shares (probably a lot more) has answered your rather draft assertion that management holdings will somehow "reduce ability to raise capital"

It seems clear that the flurry of activity earlier in the week from many new accounts de-ramping was an attempt by a hedge fund or other PP participant who had decided to deploy the usual "short the market, cover with placement shares" in an attempt to drive the price down to 18p. They failed and their shorts are now likely underwater and they will have to close those out now with their PP shares. Boo hoo too bad for them.

Never mind the derampers who are trying to predict that price will fall on any particular day. I am watching the overall sector and wider macro environment and believe that gold has a long way still to run, the USD has lost its crown as global reserve asset. Portfolio exposure in the West is 0.5% to precious metals, with 39% of money managers having ZERO exposure. If that rises to just 2% that is 4x capital flows into the sector. Juniors will explode as the majors have no real pipeline, ounces in the ground will not be cheap for much longer.

Orosur is in the perfect stop to benefit as Pepas is such a quick route to near-term production, plus at least 2m at Apta and there is certainly something at El Cedro and El Pantano also. Blue sky potential - ALL ABOARD.

Pure speculation but Eric Sprott may have taken the full placing., then the additional placing, and is asking for MORE!

If it wasn'r for Brad's tweet this morning I would be thinking a JV has been agreed (for El Cedro or EL Pantano). But why would he say "no news for 10 days" if they have a banger RNS in their pocket? That doesn't make sense. Maybe there is an agreement being worked through and it has leaked? New poster UKhnwiv or whoever came here earlier saying somebody big is buying 25% hmmmmmmmm I dismissed that as usual BB nonsense but this TSX price movement is bizarre.
