We traded 5.65% of the capital today which is well above the 3% on a normal day. yet the mm have managed to control this and get us back to our normal range. I have to admit on the back of a great RNS it is very strange. We see another stock today you will all know it that has signed up with a major pharmaceutical company and that just finished 50% up. We have so much more on the table. There is also another which is 12% up today with no news .
Hopefully when the market fully understand the potential and the meaning of our RNS today we will see similar rises for us.

There seems to be a lot of discussion about there only being twenty million euros in the bank. However investors are not reading on. Graham says "This strong cash position is after significant investment to meet continued demand for the COVID 19 Test expected in the second half of the year"
Graham says later " It also has sufficient manufacturing capacity, raw materials and finished goods to meet the expected demand.
He then goes on to say later on " Novacyt expects to provide an update on its investment in R&D to support continued growth, including a number of new products and innovations to be launched in the near future.
So we shouldn't be disappointed with the 20 million being less then we thought. To me what Graham has done is to reinvest in stockpiling ingredients and tests, put some money into R&D and invested for the future. After all that we still have 20 million left. So the question should be what exciting new products are coming this should be the focus.

We are already at our normal daily trading volume of 3% we are now at 3.3% and its only 10 am. This high amount of volume shows investors i suspect are selling on news. We will start now to see investors coming in who can see the potential here. The volume will bring a rise as there is nothing negative here and still news coming. The tweets about the saliva test is fantastic and we still haven't released the news on our Mobile test. The USA news is amazing "In the US, the Company has signed a major distribution agreement for its COVID-19 test with a new global strategic partner" Global partner is the key word here. Plus "there is expected to be greater cash generation in the second half of the year" we have more money coming in. Whats not to like, show me another pharmo company selling tests that is currently in this position today

Who do we think this is team nova?

It’s all about sentiment, if you think the company has long term prospects you invest. The more people that invest the rarer the shares become and the mm will start to increase the sp. Currently there are only 71m shares. For someone to buy someone has to sell mainly so the mm increase the price to entice you to sell. Conversely they drop the price to panic you to sell.
Personally I would be happy with 1 or 2 currently.

Drove home after work tonight past my local Harvester which has a large car park over the road that is only used for this restaurant. I’m pleased to say it was packed just like It would have been before.
Was a good sight to see. Made me realise that there is a large portion of the population that will just do as they want and live life and try to get back to normal.

There is a video conference via zoom call you can watch on the 15th outlining this. This is a 1,3 billion pound programme so I am not sure how quickly we will get to hear when the government will decide on what tests to use. We must be at the top of this list though as we are already working with Government. Politically I cant see them turning round and not using how tests as it would sound like that hadn't made the right choice in the first place and who else has got the range of tests we have and also mobile testing which we are just about to launch. If we do get an RNS I can't see this being part of it as this is process is going to take a few months?

Conclusion.
• WHO have set up ACT that require 500 Million Tests any part of this number is huge
• Nova have always had a strong relationship with WHO
• Nova had two new tests that can help with this one of which HT we don’t have the full details of but could IMHO have been specially designed with this need in mind
• President Macron was at the launch of ACT

Said it before and will say it again. Let’s look at the evidence. So directors buy in. Not just one but 4 including a non executive director all within 2 weeks of one another. I did a whole piece on the non ex director have a look back in my profile. He has experience of handling previous take overs. We settle our debt and the loan company want shares not hard cash and they are wiling to wait a while for these. We may off our mortgages on the building. Effectively getting our house in order. We are in bed with two major pharmaceutical companies we know about
We have massive orders and are making new tech and expanding. Yet we are keeping quite about this. I agree the planets are aligning. Based on other pharmaceutical company’s the Pe value Cash generated we would be around the 1b figure. This gives a value of the sp at £15

Important to look at the volume traded today to understand why we didn't really have any major swing today and kept with our sp more or less. We traded 1.36% of the capital today which is half our normal daily total. The spread was at times wide today by some 15-20p at various points giving day traders no margin to play with so I suspect a lot of them sat on their hands which is no bad thing. What it does tell me though IMHO is that investors are holding waiting for news.

I have just had a member of staff have a blood test for something else. They have told him today that he has covid 19 antibodies. He has had no symptoms throughout lock down. Middle age man in good health. He could have spread that to anyone not knowing he had it at the time.

VanV, Optigene test is 5 minutes
LAMP is a nucleic acid amplification method providing a quick diagnostic method (20 mins) suitable for use without extensive training or equipment.
A Point of Contact (POC) molecular diagnostic test using LAMP based assays should be readily achievable - the only instrument requirement is an inexpensive heater.
One important requirement for a POC test is stability of the test for distribution and storage under ambient conditions. Hence I assume support from PrimerDesign with the test assay was very important.

The new LAMP test will produce results in 5 to 20 mins. For more information on the LAMP test have a read back through this thread.

Novacyt have not formally announced this product, result of trial due June 19th + 2 weeks. Will be the 3rd new Novacyt test to launch in June.
