I realise that I have ignored the future if my expectations turn out to be great.

If anyone cares, I offer my thoughts on this. If Hydrogen flops the original plans are as now and as they always were.

If Hydrogen is up and running , then Lesedi 3 and 4 , might be adopted by SM and our Hydrogen business will be based there.

That means we start again on CBM production elsewhere , whether at Lesedi, Boomslang or Mamba.

Mamba is , imho, earmarked for Orapa gas. Boomslang is larely an unknown to me and maybe TLOU, so what would have been expansions at Lesedi will become the source of CBM power instead!

That means the substation at Lesedi cannot be started , unless they can be located a distance from the wells, and from there the poles and wires. Lesedi #3 and #4 (and maybe #5) will need room for expansions for the Hydrogen plant - so I am picturing a significant shift for the new wells?

The alternative is to make longer term plans for Hydrogen with plans for a much larger facility a distance from Lesedi #4 leaving us on course with CBM power plans. Building SM's larger units for production in Botswana (rather than Australia) makes sense to me. But how long do we keep the prototype running with the gas at Lesedi #4?

But first things first , SM need to prove they can produce Hydrogen and Carbon in Brisbane.
And then a more reflective SP might mirrored to our satisfaction.
It may be a factor in why poles and wires has not been started. But are the poles and cables and substation materials available to our contractors currently? Not to mention the workforces in all the relevant fields?

Appi, I agree with you on so many points.
We do not agree on our first revenues though, you expect CBM power and I expect it to be Hydrogen.
I am wrong if SM cannot deliver - coming up trumps - is them delivering a working IPO in Brisbane, and then getting it across the world to Botswana within H1 of 2022.

As always , it needs faith to believe they will. As an atheist, I don't any better than everyone else whether SM are up to it.
But, as everyone on here knows, I have absolute faith in TLOU being an honest company , and they appear to have enough faith in SM to expect Hydrogen production at Lesedi this year! They are not guaranteeing it will happen but they have given SM a chance to prove themselves and start production within a year - something SM probably only dreamed about??????

We are definitely made for each other - if it goes to plan I reckon a new Hydrogen company up and running with a year is going to be an all time record? What are the chances? I don't have a clue! But if it happens I'll die a very proud man to think I witnessed it!

The downside is TLOU have wasted up to a year on Hydrogen, but in that year the original plans were more or less on hold anyway?

My * is "realistic" , what is your choice of * ? For once in your life, engage on something sensible.

If you ignore the fact that S.M. has set a delivery target of H1 in 2022, I might be less confident in whether the prototype is going to be successful.
If Pure Hydrogen were not excited by SM's plans , the same!
Pure Hydrogen and TLOU both look keen so SM are clever con artists , or both the other companies are poor judges.

As I have said before, TLOU are not risking very much in honouring their side of the partnership.
Our flared gas might start bringing in some money by the year end without poles and wires.

Yawl have insisted the sp was going to boom once we had PPA and funding in place!!
I have consistently said we did not need a PPA , and I'll leave you to decide ifI was right!

TLOU are keeping mum on their involvement with SM so they cannot be accused of overhyping it! And that is a certainty on here before , during and after any events are announced.

If SM come up trumps , CBM has lost its flared gas for the duration of the real-time testing at Lesedi.
We are in SM's hands for a few months - a few months in which tennis tournaments are proving tricky due to Covid - and not much is likely to happen. No flared gas to produce electricity == no need for poles!

The big question is how many months we give SM before we up. It is a thorny one.

SM partnership is not pie in the sky ..... I was not going to mention this because of the short-sightedness of most posters ... but here goes (from November) ....

Moagi 2MW is extremely important in terms of everything, including excitement or depression.
If TLOU cannot get to 2MW it is a disaster for CBM powered electricity! But Solar and Hydrogen and CBM gas will still provide hope!

If 2MW is a success then it compares with the first Henry Ford car coming off the production line!
The future is open to repeating the process and opening extra production lines over a period of time.

As to the £2.6M it was raised in March of 2021 , long before our Hydrogen partner had made a case for a partnership!
Solar for the partnerhip does not need transmission lines - CBM for the partnership does not need transmission lines.
It was critical back in March but not so much IF Synergen produce an IPO in a few months (starting from November last)!
We have no news whether they are working 24-7 on it , but Brisbane does not close down to the same extent as Botswana thru the Xmas and New Year holidays.

If it goes well in Brisbane , who knows how long we need to wait before we need to order the necessary Solar Panels for the electricity, and have to start the deviation programme routing the CBM gas from the flare to where the IPO is planned.

Being unprepared for Synergen would be terribly management - it ain't going to happen !
If Synergen report they need more time or it is dead in the water, then TLOU can crash on with CBM production and the poles.

Pretty boring for some of you, but two options instead of one!!!! I find that fascinating.

The price of gas makes it likely that some of the majors might be happy to find any low level branches to develop?
Virgin sites with delays on permission,eco agreements, etc or are under seas and oceans , could miss the boat by the time they are operational? We are all familiar with the sort of problems that can persist!

I am thinking about Mamba and Orapa , a ready market for a site with maybe all the relevant paperwork ,very ripe !
What would a major pay for the rights?
Orapa would be over the moon (as long as the gas price has not made diesel suddenly look worth the money and the filth) to get the earlier than looks possible currently.
TLOU funding concerns should be over for Lesedi and Boomslang.
We might still have an interest in Mamba depending on the agreement. Another partnership perhaps?

A takeover of the whole shooting match could be on the cards if we find an interested major. I hope not , I want TLOU to survive as an independent in some form.

Other sites , e.g. KE/Sekaname , could be in the running too but do they have the permissions? According to our RNS we are the only one in Botswana! I still have the name Aliko in mind .... I wonder what he is up to?

Finally, criticism of our BOD making false promises , IMHO , has resulted in them playing down that RNS for fear that it turns into another false dawn from a source that is beyond our control!
Hydrogen hinges on the IPO ......... that is the key to 2022 ...... and, if it is a false dawn, then CBM is ready to be escalated as some of you expect i.e. before the IPO news is announced? imho total madness for the same of a few ""coming months" less the period since 11th Nov , Remembrance Day for two reasons later this year?

It clearly depends on those "coming months" , and how many of them we are prepared to give S.M.??
Forget CBM power , would you buy shares in a company with that prospectus?

I also know that MM and I are both on the Hydrogen case with more hope than most of you.
If S.M. are successful our route to market is totally mapped out for us!
We will be earning before Xmas with some Solar in place (so poles and wires may be tested with Solar power, once they are ready) and additional wells being opened up for more CBM (and Hydrogen and Carbon) with, maybe, more power for the poles and wires!

I might be wrong , but the only thing left to consider imho is Mamba to Orapa pipeline!

Is that MM's intelligent idea? Unless he knows something that we do not (yet) , surely not?

Whizzer, TLOU await news from Synergen Met to determine if Hydrogen needs to be prioritised or not.
If Hydrogen is the priority then pole and wires are less urgent.
If S.M. renege on the wishes to install a prototype at Lesedi within the first 6 months , then poles and wires , are back to the top of the list.

We need the poles for both Solar and CBM electricity which could be deliverable before the poles are completed.

I hope TLOU are committed to getting the poles up because they will definitely be needed whether sooner or later.
If Hydrogen goes to plan then it will be a bonus - and Tlou will have decisions to make.
Our partnership probably dictates that we fulfill our side of the deal legally.

It is not all cut and dried , but there a pot of gold at both ends of our rainbow - it is just a question of which end produces first?

What is unintelligent about expecting improved dewatering and better gas flows, and the installation of poles and wires commencing? Intelligent was a poor choice of word perhaps?

Gas prices around the globe must surely have the attention of the biggest players.
Global prices is our problem , I wonder where Southern Africa comes in the priority list compared to Europe , America and eastern Asia? I seriously wonder if TLOU ought to reconsider the transmission lines and go for higher capacity pylons but that little voice in the back of my head tells me TG just wants to get us up and running for now , and the scale of our expansions comes later! Is he expecting us to be doing that or one of the big boys?

IMHO , news from our partners in Brisbane will determine what happens in 2022 first! If their prototype goes perfectly the emphasis could be on Hydrogen, if not , CBM power. Whichever it is, the common denominator is extra wells at Lesedi as HB2 noted! And for Hydrogen route, Solar power.

Everyone a winner imho - when rather than if TLOU succeeds and in what sequence? And then there is Orapa!

Just completed my customary 3 trades all at the same 2.522p which pleases me with ASX price higher.

The clone does not apply the LSE filter (as I found in my search program versions 1) - that is done by an LSE script in our browsers to save time at the server! You'd think they'd incorporate the filters into their data retrieval but I guess it would mean passing people's filters upstream every time they change pages OR they'd need to store our filters and then update them on their servers? Data protection issues might apply so I think their approach is OK.

Cannot find any scratches on the body work or exhaust - the left footrest is quite substantial so must have taken most of the weight with my toe.

The left front indicator is intact , not smashed , but has separated into two undamaged pieces that appear to interlock but won't! Some superglue will hopefully interlock them , if not a new pair , which will need wiring up I suppose, are less than £15.

Just as well I did not ride it - I suppose the left front indicator is illegal.
Only two trades currently but the latest was a small buy at 2.53p so going in the right direction.
