1.5p would be my break even point. A pitiful return after 2.5 years of being invested and hardly any compensation for the stress. What a joke that would be.

Who would want to be in a JV with the current AST management? Perhaps I’m being too harsh, but certainly haven’t impressed me with their investor comms.

I agree this is now more than ever before about the asset rather than the poor PG10/11A setup which Colin has repeatedly mislead investors and the market about. This is also now about protecting the asset and ensuring the reservoirs are going to be able to sustain meaningful production in the future under new management. The one good thing about this I can think of is the current debt position. Thank god we’re now relatively debt free. That in itself must make the company look very attractive to an offeror.

FX, I have just watched the BRR interview and I have to say I thought it was very encouraging when he was talking about the strategic review. His body language seemed positive to me and it looks as if he had to stop himself saying certain things at one or two points. I remain hopeful!

I’m still surprised that people are continuing to sell despite all these hints that there are several interested parties involved in the strategic review, which could result in a possible takeover or other deal meaning they could sell their shares at a much higher price than today. I just can’t see the logic of selling now unless you really needed the money.
