If INA is considering an offer, surely they also have to ensure they have the funding sorted first. Maybe that’s also a reason for the delay.

Jacksdad, I thought the extension of the supply agreement till next May was illuminating as well. Why not a year or two years? 10 months is quite precise...

Westie, I don’t think it’s in the BoD’s or the company’s interests to have this SR dragging on endlessly. There is precedent in the previous SR a few years back which lasted a few months. Of course the IPPC could be the spanner in the works. Who knows what conversations are being had behind closed doors about that. But the market is obviously demanding clarity and certainty, hence the poor performance of the SP.

I don’t think there is anything else Colin can say at the moment considering the NDA’s that have been entered into. The key words about the SR is that an announcement will be made “in due course”.

In terms of the BoD’s motivations, I do see them very much as explorers rather than producers. I can therefore see AST taking a minority stake in the Petisovci project leaving GeoEnergo and the new investment partner with the reigns over the development and operation of the field. The BoD will then be free to explore other assets as CH has hinted at before. Meanwhile the options will kick in as the asset is developed over time. But this is only going to work if AST takes the back seat and the majority of the profit goes to the new partner. All IMHO.
