Hi tayson - Im a non UK resident expat, and i utilize both IBKR and Swissquote. They are both expat friendly.

I checked the Sprott ETF a few days ago and Greatland were the #1 holding then. Seems they have slipped a few places over the last few days....

I sold all of my Perseus Mining on Interactive Investor. I was also a previous Amara Mining holder. Just switch your shares to another brokerage firm. I wish i had kept my Perseus Mining shares..... I actually invested all the proceeds here in GGP.... so maybe it will be a good move in hindsight !

Sorry for the off topic questions.

For those UK Expats living abroad, which UK domiciled brokerage firms do you use for your trading ? Are they friendly towards non-UK residents ?

If you hold large share portfolios, do you have multiple brokerage accounts to spread your risk (in case the firm goes bankrupt) ?

Currently i have an account with Interactive Investor, however they are not friendly towards UK non-residents and have suggested i will have to close my account down if i dont relocate back to UK in the next several years. Their compliance team has requested documents on multiple occasions for proof of address, tax status, source of income (and actually frozen my account until i provide the requested documents).

I recently opened an account with IKBR, and they are much more friendly towards non-UK residents and so far the experience is much better.

Interested to hear some experiences from other non-UK based British Expats. Which brokerage firms do you use, and how is your experience ?

Ive been following this board since 2021 when i made my first purchase in the mid 20's. At that time i read everything available on GGP and i was convinced of the potential growth story of this company. I continued to follow this board, and watch every interview with SD and read every RNS.

Like many others here i continued to average down all the way until December 2024. I'm very overweight in this company currently, however i'm 35% in profit and i have no intention to sell at this level.

Im an engineer in the oil and gas industry working for one of the majors. My company routinely spends billions of dollars on development projects and there is always some scepticism prior to startup of new facilities/projects.

We recently started a new facility which had a CAPEX of ~3Billion USD. However, now we have started production, the payback period is only ~3 years.

Patience rewards those in the resources industry. Thus i see more upside in GGP share price in the years to come.
