I think the equity dilution and wipeout that has happened over the past 2-3 years is a worthy topic of debate. It may come across as negative but without further clarification there is a good deal to be concerned about.

There must be others looking in equally worried about the lack of any tangible progress in the financials, despite the boards assurances all will be alright.

Equity downside is a real risk for shareholders here

Be careful of the multi-ID posters ramping penny stocks like this. Easy to manipulate and already known to have at least one member of a boiler room gang Goldinvestor7 here ramping the stock. He’s gone awfully quiet recently on this punt but tends to “reverse opinion” when he flips and is looking to buy. The latest figures are not exactly “rosy”, cash falling at a pace of £150k per month over the last half year. If this continue it gives them until December-January before they need a cash injection

I wouldn’t count your chickens just yet. The last results inferred the company are still in survival mode seeking to balance cash expenditure before middle of next year. They may need to boost liquidity before then.

Maybe in a few months time with these record highs the sector will return to favour. The attractive numbers we saw recently are just the beginning but who is going to know what Serabi are making until they have had a couple quarters at this level under their belt.

These things always happen in cycles. Commodities are correcting higher and once the fire catches light then we will have our bull run.

The term ‘Cash neutrality’ mentioned in the FY report appears to mean cash flow breakeven. So the group would presumably remain loss making through the period.

“It remains our goal to reach cash flow breakeven by the second half of calendar year 2025”

At the time of the report in March they had ample cash reserves following a placing just the month prior.

But we are at the business end of the cycle now and the company are cutting a fine line with their most recent update regarding the cash position. Clearly cash depletion is ongoing. They didn’t allude to the current rate but in six months the cash position has shrunk by more than £750k.

No plans to conduct a placing with a dwindling cash pile may suggest they are looking for additional financing from other sources. That may be required to help the company ‘survive’ - they use this phrase in the Final Results also.

As at 31 March the company reported a cash position of £1.2m

Just a few weeks ago, the company reported cash had fallen to £0.43m

The rate of cash burn in the last six months may have slowed, it hasn’t been made clear, but there has not been any confirmation of reversing the cash depletion.

Aiming for cash neutrality sounds like they are aiming to stop the burn but it’s not clear when they will achieve that and if it can be achieved before current cash position falls to levels demanding another round of funding and share placings.

Then why is cash falling?
