SIPP Benefits Crystalisation Event against the Lifetime Allowance.
Spread is ridiculous - has been at times all week.
I bought the extra 100 just before close to try and keep the spread that wide for close. I have a crystallisation event going on in the background, so that cheeky £9 was worth an extra £1k for me lol.
I both love and hate how easy Aim is to manipulate.
Yep it’s disgusting that they limited the PA within the 15% and extended the spread to same, but as quickly as they could, brought down the ask and refused to budge the bid. ****es me off. If it wasn’t for the IHT advantages of Aim - honestly think half the serious investors here would disappear.
Jam in April then.... One can only hope....
Registered
Load of tosh.....
I’m a sceptic - see my other posts - but no it won’t tank.
Haddock - I’ve always used & seen, Jam Tmrw in association with managers in a business who speak about what’s coming and fail to deliver anything substantial.
From an investment perspective, one can invest for value or growth, income or accumulation... With Alien i don’t see divis any time in the future, to to coin a phrase ibsee on here - moving the projects along the value chain - is the route to growth, that’s why i pore over the words Bill uses so closely.
I flagged that it was it for me a few weeks ago, gave my reasons why,?but as yet - holding on to try and exit at break even 1.11.
Yeah, the spread is constrained here.... We need a really good RNS, but alas, “weeks and months” is more vague than RNS in the past and still no news on Mexico. Which i’m almost certain have been denied and if that’s the case, it could be legal action by shareholders who may have been misled.
Wish it wasn’t the case.... I can’t short a stock in my SIPP, so i’m i long like everyone else.
ETW98 - Possibly aimed at me then?
Sorry if you don’t like my poor attenpt at sarcasm, but the statement is made so frequently, I thought i’d get in first.
Sadly i’m a disappointed investor, in at an average that’s keeping me in... I have hopes i can get out at a small profit, but will settle at break even. This latest RNS is just more of the same jam tmrw.
Cue the rampers and those who will denegrate me for having a poor opinion of Bill.
But there will be big news soon....
Hi Forest, I didn’t say that i was leaving because of no profits. I can understand why you might think that, but i drift in and out of profit at the current range, and still exiting for the reasons listed.
I’m an investor. I trade using my Sipp with ii, and if you look at my posts, you will see my slow accumulation to my holdings here as they grew. Hardly the actions of a day or short term trader.
I’m prepping a response for the other thread, both thanking others for their lack of abuse as well as highlighting a few other issues which have been raised which are worthy of consideration and an opposing view shared. So i won’t reply to you here further if that’s ok, to keep the main thread intact.
RNS 21st Jan - "Assay results from sampling expected late February 2021" - Failed to arrive / No Update.
RNS 2nd Feb - "Awaiting environmental drilling permit authorisation for San Celso and Los Campos." - Still outstanding. Covid can only be used as an excuse for so long. I fear they have not been granted - Almadens application was declined when ours was due...
RNS 2nd Feb - "Completion of final legal registration to acquire the Nueva Andromeda permit, strategically contiguous to the San Celso project.Detailed mapping and sampling to be carried out on Nueva Andromeda by newly appointed Senior Geologist in Mexico in coming days." - No Updates.
Im beginning to think that that we are in an AIM share that is a lot of JAM Tomorrow... In the 3 months ive been long, we have only had significant progress at Donovan 2, and that has been carried out by Capstone.
My main concern is this statement:
RNS Dated 1st Mar - "The Board of Alien continues to assess a range of mineral projects and opportunities, with particular focus on exploration projects with near term news flow and value creation." The existing assets are not moving along at a suitably appropriate pace, its likely we are to see another placing later in the year, again, should further opportunities arise. However, Im not an investor who wants a continuous stream of opportunities, I would like value at some point, the glim light of revenue is invisible.
This share is very clearly manipulated, held in a tight range consistently, the spread moves between 5 and 15% to ensure it is so.
Directors dealings - easy to manipulate, via interest free loans and other methods, and when the share is manipulated, can be returned at any point free of loss.
Turner Pope are employed by Alien, so whatever their latest statement says, you have to remember who pays the bill..
Bill......... Comes off as a middle manager, the likes of whom I have known throughout my career... Lots of nice words, so far, little action in the 3 months ive seen... Going to some conferences is what managers do. Got rid of a few like him over the years....
Max.... Gets some grief on here.... So I took the time to review every ones of his posts, always factual, RNS after RNS is quoted by him... I won't divulge the other aspect of what I have reviewed in order to not give away methods, but In the past I have seen employees pose as members of the public in the past on chatrooms or provide reviews. if I was running this board, I would be investigating the account. I believe such accounts/people do provide a service, but transparency is critical.
Sorry to be a naysayers peeps, I hold 5.2m shares and for the above reasons, I will be exiting.
I ceased investing in Aim due to such behaviours, but was teased back in by Ufo... Now I call it suckered...
Sorry, I wanted to go to the moon too
Best of luck to investors
ditto
Hi & welcome...
Agree with Max... TP have to be risk averse in what they produce as an agent of Alien, and whilst they can say upside/downside case, One project coming along could blow the entire valuation, but that's why valuations can be updated. No one wants to see an early doors speculative valuation at this stage of 27p, but as projects move along the curve, we could well see quarterly increments to the valuation as more and more specifics are confirmed. I think from a sentiment perspective, this is pitched just right and will assist us. As a takeover target, at this stage, 2.2 as a base isn't a bad place to be in.
I like this guy - used to teach traders how to trade for one of the big banks... no agenda, just trying to help educate and run a small patreon.

Well, I wouldn't call it mental, but the vast majority of commodities are all indicating they are likely to enter a super-cycle which will last a decade... Why???
Primarily the central banks have tried QE, Low Interest Rates and Austerity, and it barely worked... The primary solution to our economic slowdown, is to build build build... Thats the IMF recommended approach and every government will be borrowing at stupidly low rates in order to achieve that... And what do they build with.... Commodities.... The only major economy to be doing that for the last decade has been China, but the EU, US and Americas and the UK, will be doing same... The price of commodities is only going one way... And with UFO having its hands on a variety of those resources, whatever happens we are well placed to take advantage of that....
Maybe Commodities will be controlled up, can't see it any other way, but UFO will go mental before commodities will... Provided Bill and the team, deliver... Easy really...
Ps.. Anyone buying the dip today? SMT, has priced in the USA dips for later today and was 10% down, back to 6% down now... Could go lower.... But lovely ch Ching for those who like to flip the dip.
Welcome to liftoff peeps.
Comex tmrw, Silver and other commodities heading up, great to see First Silver heading up, UFo is testing 1.2p and we have news due this week.
gotta be honest - Has an aim share ever looked more likely to spike?
Fasten seat belts, it’s time for liftoff.
what pops said. I’m sure i’ve seen you say it a dozen times since i’ve held shares, mid Dec.
