I suspect, due to the possible interconnectivity, that Xodus will demand tests to ensure that there isnt duplicity in the figures... there has to be joint tests and maybe a triple! The cpr is,remember, a due diligence type of oil accounting. They .ll be decline curves too in the next cpr - these should be interesting. I.m really keen to see in the Xodus report the reasoning for the the extra pressure well(?) Xodus have to show genuine caution as they are independent assessors of the ukog data - that.s why the oga demand that these reports are written. Sadly, oilies exaggerate, and these cpr chaps stop em dead in their tracks - getting nearer. Ps how on earth can ukog report separately on k3 and k4 ... it.s impossible ... you need the joint flow too ... separate k3 flow + k4 flow should = simultaneous k3/4 flows. If not ...mmmmm. I think we need to be careful talking about algo trades/trading. There are "thoughtful ' algos following human input rules. There are AI algos too. The Algo trades we see via trading codes on the lse exchange website may/may not be these. I suggested early this week that there were many iceberg sells/buys being put thro the exchange ...these are the types I think we.re currently seeing ie a big order or sell being sliced and diced by some algo, that.s all, trying hard to hide. This is why miifid 11 was brought in to alert us when icebergs were being worked (plus some of the more esoteric types mentioned at the start here) Transparency was/is key. We.ve all seen computer led flash crashes, and we.ll see more still. Talk about systemic risk! Anyway, another dire day, and one I didnt see coming. I do , however, still stand by my original TA comments ... even more compelling now ...have a canny wkend ...

In a recent CA report, they said they would sell into a strong mkt and buy back hur if mkts in general then fell. It was in one of their monthly reports ...quite open about it.

Straycat ... there will be a convertible arbitrage play going on, and for you, a long term holder(lol), you should know this. It is a very, very common practice amongst hedgies. Good luck with your quick punt.
