If he was to be coming up with some original or dynamic assessment of the current situation then I would probably have just ignored it.
But he doesn`t, all he does is repeat what has already been said, or speculated upon, just with capiatals!

So that would mean that the full year to Dec 2020 of £1.7m would amount to about 450m - 500m ads, and the half year to June `21 of £820k would amount to about 250m ads?

Girdz is another one, posting today judging by others responses...I don`t read so not refering to his words today.

But here`s a guy who`s been ramping this share daily for the last two years...until the last few months! At which point he decides that he`s been fooled by JD and wants to take a leaf out of the original helx`s book and start bids bashing on a daily basis.....then he sells just as the share price was at its all time low!!! You couldn`t make it up!

Now the sp has turned in to recovery mode and risen 50% from its lowest point, so Girdz is now shaking like a shyting dog for a whole new and different reason, he`s worried that he`s sold at the exact wrong time after holding for two years, and with helx (1) now disappearing off the radar Girdz is all alone in his futile and desperate deramping quest feeling like a prize plum!

Helx was very annoying, and more of a one liner sarcastic commentator on the share price, but even he`s got the common sense to keep quiet now that the company is getting a lot of positive commentary across social media, and the sp is looking strong on heavy volume.

Girdz on the other hand...well he`s not smart enough to know how stupid he is!

Well here`s a tip for you Hived, next time you see someone post a charting observation...ignore it, go out and do some gardening, or something you know something about, and let those interested discuss it if they want.

I do post charts on here from time to time if I see something interesting, so why not just filter me?

Yes DrAim, I follow quite a lot of traders on there so get plenty of suggestions to analyse.
Its a bit of a cesspit of abuse so keep myself under the radar, but its good for trading setups.

Yeah, as long as the price action stays within the boundaries of the triangle then the understood `rule` is that the breakout point tends to happen around 38% back from the apex, thats why I adjusted it yesterday as its developing.
The buying pressure is where price hits the rising line on the triangle, and is where savvy traders will be looking to buy.

The sellers are taking profits at the flat top...2.5p, but the principle being that at some point the buyers will outnumber the sellers and the pressure pops at the 38% ish point.

I love this pattern, and jump on board whenever I see one developing, my most successful pattern. Still not guaranteed but if you understand the psycology behind the reasoning it makes sense.

What some don`t understand about chartists and their trade set ups is that its all about loading `probability` in their favour.
So they`ll spot a share where 4 or 5 indicators are all pointing towards a rise, a bit like I did here once the long term trend had broken to the upside, and the 50 day exponential movng average had been breached etc
So a trader would have a four point setup..
Entry
Target price
Stop loss
Exit

There are hundreds of differnt strategies as to why you decide to hit the entry button, but here`s the thing they don`t get, if there`s any reason for you to change your mind once you`ve bought, fundamental or technical, you can just hit the exit button and wait for the next one!

The doubters have their heads on wrong when it comes to how they think its just a binary win or lose concept, it isn`t, its a whole methodical way of controlling your trades, letting the winners run and cutting the losers early.

They don`t think like that, they think that if a TA trader EVER states that a setup looks good and explains why, and then it doesn`t play out, then it must all be tealeaves and chicken bones.
They don`t understand that its them thats the bonehead!

DrAim, you`re wasting your time mate, every time I, or anyone else, posts a TA observation on any share there`s always one who has to pipe up with their sarcastic remarks. And guess what...its always someone who knows zero about charting, funny that.
I wonder what they think every time there`s a financial story in any part of the world there`s always streams of screens with charts on in the TV reports???

I always like to use the analogy of a load of kids playing football in a park and there`s always one, or two, that know they have every chance of embarressing themselves because they are useless, and when asked why they don`t join in they say...`because its a stupid game`!

They`re insecure about charting because they don`t understand the first thing about it, so they hit out with juvenile insults and sarcasm to make themselves feel superior, not realising that they`re really just making themselves look foolish....considering that 100s of millions of traders and proffessional investors and hedge funds etc worldwide rely on TA.

Its not worth getting in a spat with them because their ignorance knows no bounds when it comes to charts.
I`ve now made hundreds of successful decisions using charts in my trading and investing life, but they would just say they don`t believe it.

I`ve spent two decades being a student of charting, and lost count of the amount of times its helped me make the right decisions at the right time, buying AND selling, so its nice to just sit back and be smug about having an advantage over the naysayers.
Luckily I can incorporate both types of analysis in my decisions these days....Fundamentals for the why, and Technicals for the when!
Its all in the timing.

Obviously nobody interested in my ascending triangle, but for the record I am having to adjust things after todays strong finish.
It looks more likely now that the flat top of the triangle is more like 2.5p than 2.4p so that means the timeframe of the breakout is pushed back to the week starting the 29th, not next week.
But, as the flat top has now been moved up it means the completion of the pattern target price has also moved up, now at 3.1p, which coincides with the top of the cluster from June....just before the 2p placing was announced!

Anyway, as always with TA and charting, particularly on news driven AIM stocks, patterns can be ruined by news, but not necessarily in a bad way here, because the right news could blow the bl*ody doors off!!

Well ASOS were £60 in March and since also fallen heavily, now £28, and BOO were c370p in April, now 192p!!
It looks like the internet retail space is taking a hammering...too much competition!
So it makes me wonder even more as to why you regard a small initial punt on Bids to be too risky?

Both of those you mention are in a heavy falling trend, and neither have broken above the falling 50ema....but Bidstack have...and held above it convincingly!
In fact it is now providing a defined rising support for buyers in Bids!

Just saying!

Olderandwiser, its simple really, the year end results are key, and if last year is anything to go by we should get an update of some sort saying whether the expectations are met, beaten, or fell short, nearer the time...or shortly after.
With the recent activity I would at least expect the target of £4m in full year revenues to be achieved, others may have a different view, thats why I say the results are key.
Either way I don`t think the number is going to be extreme one way or tother, just good progress and looking forward to a much better `22 with all thats now in place.
I do have a decent position, for me, but have regularly traded small amounts as well to keep things brewing along with other stocks I hold ie selling a few here to add to them if I see an opportunity.
Happy with my core holding here though, and looking forward to further updates more now than I have in the past, because I think Bids are gaining traction in a very lucrative market place.

It does seem a bit odd Tango, that someone with your very low risk profile would be so consumed with investing in THG!
THG are an internet retailer that IPO`d just over a year ago at c£6.50, went up to 800p, and absolutely collapsed this Sept after the interims, and are now 180p!

The share price has fallen off a cliff, so your strategy is obviously as a bottom fisher....very risky!
Catching a falling knife is well known to be a fools erand in stock market terms, but you seem determined to invest in them judging by your posts over there.
Now I haven`t done any fundamental research on them, but you don`t need to if you look at the chart, the market is completely not impressed or convinced in their future...maybe too much competition in the space, but it seems a bit odd that you`re cautious about Bidstack, with their almost unique advantage as a listed company in such a growing sector, with all the signs of a turnaround now showing in many indicators, but you don`t find them attractive enough to take an early low risk small position!
The recovery potential to multibag here has to be far greater than THG, but you seem tied to the idea that thats the one for you!

Ok, well each to their own, but if you think the potential could be explosive, which I do, then if I was looking to make such a large investment then I would definitely be starting to put a % in now, its low risk at this price, but would be high reward if things do get juicy, and would mean that your average would secure a very low chance of losing over time.

Also, I don`t think Bidstack will still be around in 5 years, let alone 10!
If they do succeed in a big way, someone would snap them up if their market cap started to break in to the multiple hundreds of £m`s!

Tango, you`ve obviously been watching the progress recently re the tick up in RNS`s, and the turn up on the chart under massive volume, some of which is clearly flippers from the placing taking their profits.....but they can only sell each share once!
There has clearly been significant interest in this `turnaround` play, and I understand your caution, but can I just ask why you don`t start building a position whilst the sp is still in all time low territory.
Lets say you were intending in investing £5k, why wouldn`t you put a grand in now and start to build a position, then average up along the way if the good news continues.
You could then wait for the year end update to see if the market expectations are reached, or beaten, before adding another £1k on any post announcement profit taking dips...etc.
Just a different low risk strategy, so wondering what your thoughts are?
