Aidan alluded to this sort of thing in one of the interviews going back 6 weeks or so. He used the example of booking Rail tickets where its cheaper if you book in advance. If my memory serves me he said something to the effect that `we could do this better`!

Nero, we obviously don`t look at your example with the same view. I see the CNR share price peaking in the mid 2016 and that being the start of a falling trend to this day. Gold did follow the same pattern down for the first 6 months but at the start of 2017 the POG went sideways within a range until a final dip in Q4 last year followed by a strong rally. CNR has been in a continuous falling trend over that whole time with the odd bounce which no doubt correlated to RNS announcements when optimism was better than it is now.
If CNR had any relationship with the POG surely it would have at least appeared to attempt to track the recent strong gold rally.
The two have been strongly diverging over the last 6 months, way past the height of the political disruption of last year.....I wonder why that is! No, I know why that is, its because the faith has gone very thin, the sentiment has been eroded over time, uncertainty has set in deeper, and traders and investors alike have better homes for their cash, while all we keep getting are more presentations saying how hopeful MC is that some sort of deal can be hatched.
To cap it all, we get an RNS stating that the flagship project is now going to be delayed further.
Like I`ve argued with the Solgold fan club over recent years, the gold is still in the ground (theirs is 1 mile underground) and until CNR start coming up with a significant decisive move to get it out of the ground it won`t matter what the gold price is.
Granted, the political situation didn`t help, but thats all dissipated somewhat as evidenced by the deal B2G has just done, so why didn`t that news give the CNR sp a kick....and I don`t mean 3%, I mean 25% from this very low level.

CNR shareholders need something legitimate, some sort of realistic light at the end of the tunnel to cling to in order to reverse this falling trend with significant strength and purpose...but as it stands all they`re getting is further hurdles and silence on how they intend to bring some short term revenue in via a smaller production stream, and that`s why the share price is in the toilet.

We know they`ve been having meetings with chains recently so maybe a nice juicy chain RNS could hit the market before long...then (and I don`t usually use this word).....booooom!

Ah I get it, it moves `with` gold, you didn`t explain that bit before....so when gold moves up CNR moves down `with` it!...ideal, thats a great reason to hold then.

btw I sold one third of my holding as soon as the delay RNS came out...because of the delay!!

Nero, are you serious that you don`t understand my point, I`m not talking about progress that WAS made (historical)...I`m talking about current progress which has thrown the `now` situation in to even more uncertainty, JHC you`re a piece of oak! And a liar!

Here`s some research that you might want to check for accuracy...
6th Aug `18 (the date of the Permit Granted RNS)
Gold price $1207/oz.......CNR share price 45p
25th June `19
Gold price $1439......CNR share price 20.5p

So gold ~ 19% up, or $232.....and CNR share price ~55% down, or 24.5p..over ~11 months...not just a blip but a solid pattern yet you claim the words as copied above!

If you overlayed the charts they couldn`t be going in a more opposite direction!!!

So are you a blatant ludicrous liar, or a deluded shareholder with a patch over your bad news eye and a wide open blue sky eye!! I think its both!

If you just want to harp back to historical progress, which incidentally had an extended delay if you`re brave enough to remember, then I don`t really think that you are honest enough with yourself to make any real returns on your investments.

Nero, the main permit was granted last August, the share price has fallen ever since. The recent `delay` RNS last Thurs states that the permit contained certain conditions to be satisfied to allow construction to commence within 18 months of the grant. It now says the construction phase for a new mine at Mina La India `may` begin beyond the overall 18 month period stipulated in the Permit.
It goes on....the land acquisition for the mine site infrastructure has not been completed in the required timeframe and the final engineering designs are not anticipated to be completed in their entirety in accordance with the required timetable.
I`m stating facts in that the anticipated timelines of progress have not been met and are now open ended as to how long it will be before they are met, so don`t tell me I`m lying about the lack of progress.

Well don`t forget I am still holding here, and have been for more than two years, with nothing but a falling share price.
So if I want to vent my feelings about what a disaster it has been, and is, then I will. After all, the reason you don`t like hearing what I`m saying is because its the truth.
This has dragged on and on and on with nothing but hope that one day `something` will be announced to move this project forward.
I was hoping for a small bounce with todays RNS, but alas not a bean...nobody`s interested. If it had bounced I would have sold and left the discussion, but as it stands this bag`o`shyte failure is still eroding my hard earned funds, so as it stands I`m entitled to make my comments.

Seingred, don`t blame you for selling some but think there are more options than just gold producers, or trading. Early in to some high tech stocks can give huge returns, it takes a bit of research and filtering but can pay big.
Also, if people want exposure to a high potential junior gold explorer you could do worse than ECR Minerals. They have plenty of licenses in Victoria Aus which is a proven historic gold producing region, and they are in the process of re-testing some misleading assay results due to the procedure used missing some nice nuggets. More news today here which may pick the sp up a trickle, but CNR as a long hold is wearing very thin. IMO

Look on the bright side, I finally moved funds out of this non event and put them into a very exciting new tech VR company. It seems like any blue sky here has turned decidedly grey and I can`t be bothered anymore.
Another company I have invested a significant amount of my portfolio in is Bidstack, my average is under 15p and they recently hit an intraday high of 42p!! Pulled back in to the buy zone again and looks to be rising off the low 30p`s again.
Its made me realise that the long term buy and hold is not always a guaranteed winner just because you `believe` in the company.
I`ve waited long enough for `the bounce` and I`m sick of it.
I haven`t sold my entire holding, just the ones I bought at 20p, about one third, but there are some `very` interesting new tech VR companies which have so much more potential than this one over the short, medium AND long term.
I know the POG is getting sexy but that could be temporary, besides it doesn`t really matter if you`re not bringing gold ashore to sell.
I`m looking for a good price to get rid of my existing holding then its adios I`m afraid.
Good luck to the faithful but I`m in the market to make money, not to be a shareholder.

I`ve read all the RNS`s so far and decided to start buying at 5.8p thinking it had got low enough, so I was a little early but didn`t stop me topping up today at 3.8p.
Whoever is selling will have their own reasons, but I doubt its because they think the company has no future looking at the brief history.
Any kind of positive news, which can drop anytime, will have this taking off in some style so I`m happy to wait...whatever the deramp mob say.

After digesting the info in my last post I actually think the figures would be quite good anyway...revenue didn`t stop at £300k and most likely increased exponentially month on month.

Just because BIDs `have` provided trading updates outside the normal regulatory requirements doesn`t mean they have to after every period. They deemed it necessary on the 11th Jan probably just to round up the short year and to give the market something to chew on, like....

- the £300k revenue in the first 3 months

- Exclusive dynamic digital advertising contracts now signed with nine games including FM18, FM19 and DiRT Rally 2

- Bidstack's platform is live in both FM18 and FM19 with approximately 1m impressions per day in Asia alone in December 2018

- Bidstack's platform is now live on an end-to-end programmatic basis with PubMatic, operator of a major Supply Side Platform

- FM19, the sixth version of Football Manager, launched on 2 November 2018. Bidstack conducted Beta trials in FM19 for around 20 advertising partners, including Talk Talk, AEG, Hofmeister, Converse, ESPN and Penguin Random House, with the Company restricting the number of brands seeking to participate in the beta trials

You`re just putting 2 and 2 together and presuming it gets 4 when it doesn`t always work like that. Remember, AIM rules do not require a trading update for any company listed `immediately` after the end of period and can take up to 3 months to announce them to the market...see

So you`re either holding inside information, or you`re guessing, and I`ll bet my entire holding that you don`t answer which one it is.

Bids are `not` required to do an immediate update after the interim trading period, so you`re claiming to have inside information then are you?

Answer- have a look just past the end of your nose at something called POTENTIAL....then ask yourself one question-
Why is it that not just one, or two, but nine big hitters from the world of gaming with CV`s to die for and being paid £m`s have bothered to devote some of their precious time to a relatively small UK AIM company when at that time the Mcap was about £25m? What in the world would possess them to make that leap of faith....en masse?

Bids are required by AIM rules to put accounts together for 6 months ie June 30th, but...they have no later than 3 months after that date to announce them to the market, so anything up to the end of Sept...

By that time there will have been plenty of good news going in to the 4th quarter, so price could be well higher than 30p and historic figures will again be largely irrelevant to its position at that time.

Both of the last posts show a certain amount of self imagination of what the dining out world has become. If `restaurints` had to rely on Birthdays and business meetings the number of them in the UK that would survive would be slaughtered by 75%.
My elderly Mother is still very active luckily, and almost every time I speak to her she has either a restaurant meal arranged or telling me about the one she just had, and she goes out with `the girls` about once a month for an Indian meal. Surely I can`t have the only relative who loves going out to eat, women in particular seem to love it.

Also to make an investment decision on the strength of how the CEO pronounces a word would be like looking through a restaurant`s letter box when its closed wondering what the food tastes like.

John Major used to irritate me with the word `wunt` instead of want, and Theresa May with her `are` instead of our, but it didn`t stop me from voting Labour!! Ha ha.

Each to their own but its already a proven business model with their Asian business, and growing in the UK. Everyone likes cheap food.
Anyway, back to Bids. They received quite a bit of stick when their own fund raise was leaked (not from me) so its just part of the world we live in today with the internet and social media having a big say in proceedings...good and bad.
I took advantage of the `wobble` around the time of the fund raise and am delighted that I did.

Same with DISH, some took advantage by buying in at a 40% discount to the placing price, so well done them.

Htt, the American investors approached Bigdish, not the other way round, similar to the Bids fund raise. So at the time ie after a good run up on the share price, the DISh management had meetings and decided that it could be looked back on in the coming months as a mistake if they didn`t accept the £2m now, particularly at a premium price of 7.2p, and would put them in very good financial health for at least 18 months, with increasing revenues as they roll out their ambitious UK coverage of restaurants.
JW and whoever advises him spat their dummy because DISH didn`t fit with their demands by the sound of it, along with, from what I understand, Bigdish had plans to go down their own road for their future mass exposure anyway.

If it meant losing one paid `investor!` and his one trick followers which hurt the short term share price to be able to partner with a big US investor who has told them more money is there and ready if DISH need more the I know what I would vote for.
If JW thought DISH were a strong investment and fit all his criteria a month ago then its even more invest-able today at the lower price.
It is rising again now so JW `the trader` might even get back in....I wonder if he`ll announce it if he does, then all his `one trick` researched followers can drive the price up more and he can sit back and smile...smugly counting his profits!
