Adding 1 restaurant in new locations is clearly just psychological bs, trying to make their offering look more significant than they actually are. When are they going to increase the take up in areas like Swindon that have been on 1 rest` since they first listed?
I bet their plan was to pick new areas one by one, keep phoning rest`s with a special offer to be first on that locations list, then move on to the next one just to make the website and app look fuller...like Tastecard`s one. Only thing is that Tastecard has plenty of choice in each one.
Poor see through ploy by the new CEO, did he not think that people would notice?

I`m still very bullish about Bidstack`s potential, and still think it could provide for a very comfortable retirement in a couple of years time...if they don`t get bought out too cheap ie 50p-100p.
James Draper has been good at doing what he said he would do in the past, plenty of examples of that, but one thing I`m getting frustrated with is his over exuberance (ironically), and how it leads him to try to be too specific with timescales, as in the `early` January update on clarity in order to be `reasonable` towards shareholders.
Surely by now he is realising that over promising and under delivering hurts the share price. If he doesn`t then maybe one of the AAA advisory board could have a word.
So my message to JD would be to stop making promises, specifically timelines. Under promise and over deliver is far far more encouraging for people to part with their hard earned because they are pleasantly surprised and feel good about their decision to invest.
It makes them get excited about the future, not disappointed in the shortfalls!

Its the timelines James....STOP PROMISING TIMELINES if there is any doubt that you wont meet them.

And someone is accumulating, those 1 million buys have been pretty consistent over quite a few weeks/months, great assets with plenty of gold so maybe there is plenty going on behind the veil of the `old news` tweets.
We know they are confident of there being a multi million oz gold deposit...and we know that they already have some high grade results....now lets have some real evidence of the bonanza discovery.
Its long overdue for ECR to put some meat on the estimates...and treat shareholders to the prize they deserve after supporting them for long enough.

Adrian, the offer at Tastecard is exactly the same principle with Dish when it comes to 2 for 1 is it not? And since they offer 50% on ALL deals then its a no brainer that an odd number customer booking, given the choice, would choose Tastecard for its guarantee of 50% off per person, and only one of the customers is required to be a member, so if you always go out in a party of 6 then you can share any membership costs....no wonder they are so big, adding at least 300 restaurants per month!
In the Dish Harrogate location, there are two slots at 25% off, and coincidentally, the same restaurant (Essenza) is on the Tastecard website, one of 28, with 50% off for a multiple booking, or 2 for 1 at any time of day!

They have 2.7 million members, Dish has a long way to go.

Well if I`m looking for a bargain meal I`d rather get 50% off a £50 bill than 25% off.

Simple fact is that revenues are puny at the moment, and once the penny drops with traders and investors they will be quick to take any profits...like this morning with some big sells.

My point being that a 25% discount isn`t as attractive to customers as a 50% one...simple common sense, if tastecard are offering ALL 2 for 1 or 50% off then they will be cheaper to customers.

Newcastle....7 restaurants, and every one only offers 25%...some only show 2 slots from 4pm to 6pm

Nottingham....3 restaurants, one offers all 2 for 1, and the other two offer ALL slots at 25%!

I`ve just done a random search on the website, and picked Leicester.

Out of 12 restaurants listed, 12 out of 12 offer a majority of a 25% discount
They offer an average of about 8 slots per day, so lets call it 100 slots in total, and 68 of them are only offering a 25% discount!!
Try it yourselves, pick a location at random and see how many are only offering 25%...it might disappoint some of you.

Show me where they`ve stated that, happy to be proved wrong!

Still would need thousands seated per week to make more than dole money!

BigDish is a free consumer product. Consumers can book a table with a discount via the BigDish App or website. Restaurants pay BigDish a fixed fee per diner seated.

There must be many thousands of restaurants in the locations above...and Dish have 10!!!

Additions to the app don`t mean guaranteed seatings. If restaurants are only seating 4 people a week it doesn`t amount to much.
Harrogate = 1.....Tastecard have 28, on 2 4 1 or 50% off deals, none of this 25% that Dish offer! Which one would you choose?
Competition is strong, and as the sellers today realise...the short run up is over (valued)!

Notice how they never mention how many people are actually seated per week, or month per restaurant on average. All they do is say how many restaurants there are on the app.
If you look at the update Immotion Group (IMMO) did earlier in the week, they say how many headsets are installed, in how many venues, and how much each headset is generating per week, and how that figure has been rising over time. Also agreed new installations looking forward, and an estimate that they will be at EBITDA breakeven by the end of Q1.
Different type of offering, but same principle of increasing footprint in their respective industries.

The point being that Dish don`t give out those sort of details, when they will have clear visibility of those numbers. If the take up of seats (revenues) was huge they would be singing it from the rooftops!
