Lovely to hear from you, I noted you were out on the first bid sorry to see you go, you are missed on this board! I know I speak for a large number of readers I also noted you and I holding another share which I am quite heavily exposed too with Uncertain although haven’t commented on that board in a while, like you will be looks to exit, have averaged down in recent months on the news flow. I Hope you are keeping well when this very dull business with covid is over would be fantastic to meet up again when you are next in London. I hope all well in Spain and the family are well. I had my jab two weeks ago so ready to rock and roll. Gagging to get out!!

HL indeed have sent out the terms of the offer.... I again will not sign it.
Kaz is and has been unpredictable in many ways, for instance when the results come out which have been over recent years brilliant the price drops. Often when copper is down Kaz go up! Etc.
I do think it is well run just by reading the results shows so they have delivered.
This bid and the purchase of the new mine have put uncertainty out there, however I do not think this is as yet a done deal, I believe there is major opposition to it, I could be wrong however imv I think given the Cu outlook for this year Nova will struggle getting the 75%.
I also agree that it is important that people can express their views bull or bear as it makes us all think and re evaluate any thoughts we may or may not have.
My view is that Cu is looking strong and will test new highs after this correction which if the big shareholder believe as some have stated then surely this deal will fail.

I do hold a chunk of Glen as used to trade Xstrata , I sold 2/3rd of my holding ages ago and increased my position in Kaz. the problem with Glen is their forward hedge book. Fags never traded have thought about it, the strikes have put me off. I really can't see a downside in holding out on this bid, as i expect it to get shelved and Kaz have an upward correction or worst case have an increased half decent offer.

I agree that this article is rather basis, although i do agree that shareholders have more to gain than loss by holding on. I don't disagree with your points you raised the deal all comes across as a white wash..
I do think that copper is on a super cycle and that the timing for this bid couldn't have been worse. below is an article on copper interestingly saying what Citigroup who are advising the so called 'independent committee' believe the outlook on copper is!

Whether this super cycle with Cu is a spike or stable progression is open for debate , IMV i think it will last, if this is the case then I would expect that this bid will have no option but be shelved or binned. Therefore as Hash says this is a win win.

Nova will have to increase the bid to a suitable level, (which they ought to have done to start with ) or can it! at which point the share price will spike as you suggest will spike up.
