It will be a complete sale of the CS project. Sunrise team bring nothing to operationalising the deposit so why have them still involved. Maybe the price will include a net royalty - but I reckon the Buyer has pretty much all the cards on this one.

Does PC take fees from Sunrise? If so, compare those to the cost of this top up.

In addition, the Company is in discussions with several strategic parties to secure the remaining funds required for project completion.

Botswana is being seen as 'blue sky' potential where they need to go out and 'drill drill drill'. As he said, where they are going next is greenfield exploration ground - and he sure was putting the responsibility to target the right areas to drill onto Dave Catterall. But then the same Dave was the guy responsible for deciding much of the previous drill programs, so he is fallible. (I follow another company in Botswana where some mug-punters swear blind in the brilliance of the CEO and they wont countenance anything but success by him.)

So Botswana is going to spend money for the next couple years for sure. That means Zimbabwe needs to start generating cashflow reasonably soon ie next 6 months or so. If not, then BT may get the opportunity to see if Purebond is as financially supportive as he would like us all to believe today.

Where does the revenue come from - certainly nothing copper related. That will take years and money to drill and prove up to a resource/reserve. And anyways, then they would look to sell it. So revenue can only come from gold in Zimb - well ok the prospect of significant gold discovery / extraction can super charge a share price. But who is going to believe that means they are on a mother lode of golden or silvery stuff ...... The more he behaves like a pump and dump CEO, the less credibility KAV projects imo.

Hypothetical question for you - Sekaname has a 6MW PPA. Their MD said they can connect to the grid quite quickly (I take that to mean thye dont need to build a 100km transmission line (but surely they will need build one sub-station at their site). What is Sekaname have 50m shares in issue. Or 100m shares in issue. Or maybe they have only 10m or 20m ..... We have no way of knowing. Well, you guys have no way of knowing :-)

But my main thought reading your post Winni is - you have forgot about the A$5m convertible note issued to the Doc accruing interest at 10 per cent (presumably) compound interest. Pension Fund also have their convertible note for US$5m at 7.5 per cent. So plenty of debt on the balance sheet at high coupon convertible into shares at 3.5 cents = lots and lots more shares issued come the day of conversion.

And then they need at least another 10m cash to finish the proof of concept which they hope to raise from local Botswana sources. That is probably going to be via convertible note as well. If the lender or lenders is not Pension Fund, then there will be a big bun fight over which note holder has priority over the Doc and Pension Fund. In short, this current fund raise from sources in Botswana is by no means going to be easy to arrange.

Or the alternate view from Brad - there is any number of people happy to replace TG and buy all his shares because the Tlou opportunity ahead is so compelling. Then again, he didnt know what a HNWI so why be surprised by anything anymore.

Classic. Mind is closed to any possibility that Tlou simply isn't the 'greatest thing since sliced bread'.

NP - I like it. Someone prepared to say openly that Tlou risk is anything but mitigated. The transmission line will work; generators running on gas to generate electricity will work; gas gathering systems ay surface and stripping and cleaning the gas will work; so the only thing left to tick is security and consistency of gas supply. Yes, gas supply for 2MW should not be a big drama; hopefully neither is 10MW. And if Tlou gets to that level of consistent power generation, then AWESOME because the proof of concept will be proven. Scaling up to higher levels then becomes front and centre - and withing that, so does gas composition since low levels of methane means additional and possibly significant extra costs. But that should wash through for large MW of power generation - but Tlou is how many years away still from large power generation. By then, there will be 2 billion plus shares in issue. There is No Getting Away from the number of shares issued by Tlou and TG - yet all here are seemingly incredibly accepting of their investment of 5+ years ago being washed and rinsed until there is no colour left.

As Brad always says - in TG we trust. Idiot !!

Extract from a speech last week about ongoing electrification across the country:

PRESIDEDENT MASISI LAUNCHES MOCHUDI 132/33kV SUBSTATION

His Excellency Dr. Mokgweetsi E.K. Masisi, President of the Republic of Botswana, launched the 132/33kV power substation in the Kgatleng District on 22 February 2024.

The project is expected to improve the quality and reliability of power supply in Mochudi and surrounding areas. The substation will also facilitate transfer of the Kgatleng River villages from the South African grid to the Botswana grid. This is in line with the objective to eradicate dependency on neighbouring countries for supply of electricity to our villages along the border.

In his official address, President Masisi stated that Government has reviewed standard connection fees of BWP 5,000.00 and BWP 2, 500.00 (excluding VAT) for higher income and low to zero income households, respectively. He said that there will now be free connections for all households starting from the 1st of April 2024. Moreover, he said that customers earning only up to BWP2, 400.00 per month will be provided with the option of free supply of a Ready Box where a household could not afford the cost of wiring a house.

Speaking at the same event, Minister of Minerals & Energy, Honourable Lefoko Moagi said that the project has already addressed the load capacity in the Kgatleng region and improved customer experience, adding that the increased load capacity will go a long way in providing the Government with latitude to attain the Energy Policy objectives. “The capacity will allow Government to further extend the grid, increase household connections and provide reliable power supply in the Kgatleng district. Thus, provide modern services to our people and to attain 100% household access to electricity by 2030” the Minister said.
