RE: Tlou Energy16 Nov 2024 17:01
My posts are not designed to get anyone to Sell (or Buy). As you say, that is a case of 'each to their own decision'.
What i found obscene about this forum was how a concerted effort by a few 'strategically placed' or 'motivated' posters hyped this stock with the intention only of sucking Retail punters onto the shareholder roll. The claims by Management at that time, and these 'supposed influencers' was a complete disgrace ! In my view, what was being attempted was verging (perhaps straying) into illegal territory.
What I have largely endeavoured to do ever since is provide opinions and articles that demonstrate Botswana was never the stupendous opportunity TG and team and influencers attempted to sell everyone.
Free - you say Tlou will be an electricity company providing electricity to Africa via SAPP. Can you tell me any company that, at present, is generating electricity in Botswana and selling it via BPC transmission grid to others in SAPP ??
I can save you the bother - there is no-one doing this at present. For Tlou to manage to do this, they will need negotiate with BPC on a tariff re using their grid. A negotiation with anyone in Botswana takes time, so by all means alert us to the attractive possibility ahead. And leave it to me to remind you it wont be as easy as you (and your influencer mates) will try make us all believe.
And best not forget - Tlou need make their horizontal wells flow sustained gas; that gas needs to be high methane (ie low CO2); financing needs to be agreed and credited; infrastructure needs to work well; BPC need measure the electricity correctly and process and pay Tlou invoices (hopefully without undue delays - but I know they will delay, because they are delaying everybody else these past many months); and then Tlou need crank up volumes and MWs generated consistently and then maybe, just maybe (in 2-3 years) they will be in a position to sell surplus to SAPP.
Just my opinion mind !
