We will need to agree to disagree then. I fully agree that getting off and roaming around the port stalls is something that won’t happen for a while but the call of cruising will outweigh the local merchants call.!
You are absolutely right that hardened cruisers don’t care about NoroVirus or Flu or anything else. Wash your hands and 99.99% of the time you will be fine. I have been on several ships where NoroVirus has been over 50% and the ships have turned back. Great earners for me. I got discounts and another free cruise whilst enjoying that cruise. I completely agree that Covid is not good.... but neither is cancer or the measles even which is By far more Viral than Covid.

Your post just shows the difference between someone playing shares vs someone investing with knowledge. I cruise for ten weeks a year. Most of the time now I do not get off the ship. All of my cruise buddies are American and most of them cruise for half a year every year. Seasoned cruisers do not care about getting off at ports. We have seen most of them. If in the short term we cannot get off to walk around it will make no difference. My twenty cruise buddies between us have over 500 cruises booked for next year. The cruising is about the shows, the fact that you don’t have to worry about food or drink, the social aspects and for us the casino, however most seasoned cruisers do not go into the casino normally. On day one of the US Ports opening the ships will be as full as they will allow them to be. We want cruising. We miss cruising. This share will go back to £20 soon enough. It will not get a lot higher than that due to the debt in the short term but give it 5 years and it will be £30 a share again

I averaged down previously now in at 4.3p. Only have £30,000 invested in Hurricane so let’s see.!

No. They will change the method, the amount and the logic and call it a different thing. But basically it will still be free cash for people.

So slowly slowly we have the SP degrade bit by bit, day by day, the silence is deafening and with no announcement at all from our new CEO it makes you wonder is it because they have no clue or is it because they have their heads down so much on new deals and the court case..

Unsure what planet you are living on... and if you have been on a cruise, obviously you stayed on an inside cabin and bought and gambled nothing.
The casino in a week makes $200,000 on the larger ships. Plus WiFi, drinks packages, excursion revenue, gifts, speciality restaurant’s etc etc and then you have every other cabin type above the inside cabin lowball cabins... A reasonable average for a normal cruiser would be more like $2,500 pppw.

Newbie... very very close. The only thing wrong was the buy price. It is 0.92 euros. Assuming the rate is the same on Thursday morning that would make the buy price £0.85 not £0.88

I hope it doesn’t otherwise if I had known I would have sold all 2m share at 16.9p and then rebought back 3,380,000 shares instead.!

BTB. Exactly. The problem is that there is a bigger chance that Nano is being pumped up for a bigger fall. Look at Hurricane.! No news from Nano and then probably no major contracts signed will result in further slides....!!

BTB. Thank you. £20,000 in avg 6.33p. Now trading at 2.88p...!!!! 52% drop so far today. Will buy another £10,000 next week and seriously avg down again and then hold for it to regain over the next year...
Same logic I did with Nano all those years and months ago.. I also bought Lloyd’s but only a month ago at 27.30p avg. I have 700,000 shares.... and of course that has gone down to 26p now as well.!

Yep. Went up 27% Thursday before close and now down 50%... sounds like Nano.!!!!

Well.. if anyone looked the RNS was taken as a massive negative .! At least I can buy in and average down some more now.!

So a while ago I invested in Hurricane Energy. I bought in and lost 40%. I then have averaged down and now am in £20,000 at 6.33p... have a look in the morning. If it starts to take off after the RNS that is likely to come out tomorrow then jump in early as it could well go skywards... please check it out yourselves first though but just a heads up.

I bought in £10,000 at 8p and then bought another £10,000 a week or so ago to have an average of 6.33p. Looking forward to a “moonshot” day tomorrow.!!!!! :-).

I also find the news that everyone manages to dig up very insightful.... but.... that is our interpretation rather than the markets, and although I am a believer in the very long term I think that the updates or lack of them. The SP movement of lack of positive movements and the lack of any movement on any front whatsoever does not exactly boast any confidence. What has happened to Merck or ST or investment in cancer discovery etc etc etc...

But... of course.. another crappy Nano day... and yes. Don’t tell me... low volumes... of course ... so when it’s 1p a share and we slowly erode the share price down and then we get a 50% rise it will be meaningless...
