We closed at $12.32 at 11.30am EST, and at their close, it's now $12.30.

Overall we held well with the downward Dow pressure for a change.

Probably will open down tomorrow, but hopefully the Dow will gain tomorrow, so we will pick up after the usual US opening drop........hopefully.!

I think the results are 22nd June, maybe 23rd. They aren't exactly easy to find,!

The US market has had an incredible run, but Carnival although increased didn't exactly run away with it.

As several of the analysts have changed to Buy, I'm unsure now would be a good time to sell, hence why i'm not.

I'm crap at day trading. Have lost a fortune trying to do that. I always buy at the top and sell at the bottom, it's absolutely incredible how stupid I am.!

The challenge here is that I believe the results will show packed ships, great revenue, great future booking, and probably close to breakeven............but............then they will harp on about the debt, and the fact that they aren't paying it down quick enough blah blah blah.

So results day, if it's at the same time as a good US day, and if we breakeven, and they don't give us a downer, then there is a 15%-20% potential.

On the flip side, we all know what f..... happens when we believe it's going to do that........it tanks by 15% instead.

But. If you are here for a while, it makes no difference.

I honestly believe we will be £15-£17 in a year.. £20 end of next year

Over the last year, Carnival has dropped just over 10%.

Royal has gone UP 52%......

Absolutely incredible.

We closed at $12.215, and currently, as the US closed, it's now $12.18

Maybe the end of our run.

It is absolutely incredible how Royal just keeps going up and up and Carnival keeps doing a rollercoaster up/down.

It really does show you how the market makers are trading the stock to death.

I just hope that one day soon, they all get caught out.

I'm watching my 750k shares move up and down, but luckily my avg is 5.5p, so still very very slightly up....

With the change from monthly to qtr, when is the next payment date and final date of ownership for inclusion?

As the last RNS said that the dividend would be paid at the end of May with the results, but now the results are not being published until the end of June, so has the ex-dividend date now gone, or has it been moved, or what....???

So the US opened, it jumped up, in line with the Dow, then it dropped from $12.20 down to $11.99, and has now gained back to $12.22...

My brother who I managed to pursued to buy Carnival sold his £10k worth after making 10% over the last few days with the belief that this will drop, like most things will drop, at the start of next week, noting that the Dow is BRIGHT GREEN today, so whenever there is a bright green day, you 99.9% are followed by a bright red day, and usually on a Monday...

I'm still holding, as I can't swing trade my volumes easily without crapping myself.

Let's see what happens during the close for the US, and wait with baited breathe for Monday.

Noting we are getting closer to results day, and things are lining up, I don't want to be out of this, as Carnival previously has had a 30%+ day, which with the right tailwind could well happen without notice.....

Of course, it could also have the same downwards as well.!

Yep, all the cruise lines are packing them in, and basically doing away with the luxuries that "once was"...

The Olden days of turning down beds, chocolates on the pillows etc etc are long gone.

I think the closest to "fine cruising" now is probably Cunard....

It's no different really like British Airways, the experience was gone, it's basically a better known budget airline brand.

If you want the one on one experience you will need to book the Seabourne/Silverseas/Regent type levels.

I only pay taxes and port fees for my cruises, and I am/we are always in a Suite, and 95% of the time I WIN in the Casino.

So actually, I'm helping to reduce Royal's bottom line, and not increase it :-) Which is good news for Carnival.!

You never know, this could be a HUGE day if this gain momentum with the fact that the Senate are approving, and the Fed potentially are saying that's it, no more.......

It got all the way up to $11.93.!!!!!

It's sliding back now, currently $11.80.

But... If it holds, then that is a solid 1.5% gain tomorrow at 12p

We closed at $11.62 and currently we are at $11.76.

So hopefully another 10p jump minimum when we open tomorrow.

It was announced last night that the "traders" are turning their attention away from the debt ceiling and trying to find another excuse to swing the market.

You would think it would be diificult tom manipulate the whole of the US market, but obviously when you are moving $1,000,000,000,000 + across all of them, I guess it';s not that difficult.!

So overnight, the US has tanked, so we've gone from a +1% to a -1% opening........awesome.

Obviously the agreement that was agreed that they need to agree on for the agreement to get agreed isn't actually agreed yet so the agreement needs to be agreed first.............. :-)

We closed at $11.24.

Currently it's $11.38.

So $0.14, or a 10p, approx. 1.3-1.4% rise assuming like for like on opening.

Unfortunately, as I said, it's Sept 2021 all over again.

I've got 16 more cruises booked before the end of Feb 2024.

Unfortunately all of them on Royal, but it's fine, I will be eating into their profits for us, and hopefully continuing to win in the casino to minimise their bottom line. :-)
