Great you are still around, hopefully you are in Carnival, and lowered yourself in RR.

RR's going to do exactly what it did in Sept 2021, which killed me. I still have a sizeable RR holding, but not what I once had.

I do honestly believe that Carnival is going to come good, and jump.

I can see £17-£20 by March 2024, where as I cannot see £3 for RR by the same period.

Upside here I believe is better than most travel at the moment.

IAG sucks though, should be £2.50 by now.

And for everyone that has tried to play the market at the moment......

Looks like you got caught out big time today.!

Today's Carnival jump at the moment is a very nice unexpected turn of events.

I always look at the CNN pre-market site.

It's now showing "Extreme Greed" which is driving the market.

It's got the highest rating I've seen in a very long time of 77, which basically means that the whole thing could be dumped at any moment.

With summer travel upon us. No Covid, Ships and Planes full, forward booking at or beating 2019 levels, you would expect that not only CCL but all travel to be going through the roof now.

CCL still only at £9, IAG still only at £1.60, RR still only at £1.50, you would think that this should all be at least double what it currently is.............

BUT..... Hey...........the reality of the stock market........

Well well.!

So after hours, it rose back to $12.89.!

So at 8pm EST (1am UK Time) we were back to level again......

Simple.... we are screeewed..........

It was obvious that the run was just too much to hold on to.

We closed at $12.89, and it's currently $12.73, so a 16c drop, or 12p ish.

All US is green again, which isn't a good sign either, as all travel tanked and there isn't any justification, it's not like we got caught up in a broader market downturn, because there isn't one.

So, might be a rough day tomorrow.

In Theory, the answer is yes, I am in the black, my avg is £7.43 if memory serves.

BUT.

If I also include the times that I bought at the top, and sold at the bottom, the answer is absolutely NOT in the black.

I have 75,000 shares, so I'm approx. £125k up, but I probably lost about £200k trying to be clever and ending up falling on my face, and the stomping over myself as well.

All I want is £20 a share, and I will be a very happy boy.!

Well.

We closed at $13.03.

Currently it shot back up to $13.13 after our close towards the daily high of $13.18.

It's started to get a little bit more exciting.!

Soon, hopefully, a 2% rise will be 20p...!!!

Feb 2023, it went through £9, and then dropped to £7....

Let's see.!

$12.80 close.

So, assuming no movement overnight, we jump 8p this morning.

We closed at $12.68.

It's currently $12.77, been bouncing from $12.76 to $12.84.

Hopefully it stays around the same mark.

Other good news is that the US indexes are flat ish. So, hopefully with a bit of a following wind, we will gain again.

Results in just over two weeks.......so let's hope this continues.

If the big boys could only do the same analysis that I did below.!

To bring us back in line with the same like for like against Royal that was pre-covid, we would need to have a share price of £24 today......

The good news is that as it keeps rising, the % gains account for a lot more money.!

2% of £7 is only 14p.....

And Royal is now over $90 a share.! mCap $23.17bn vs Carnivals $15.89bn.!

So a company that HALF the size of Carnival is 50% bigger in SP.!

You really can't make this stuff up.

DEBT Today...

Royal has $22bn in debt, Carnival has $32bn in debt....

Royal has $32.26bn in Assets vs Carnivals $51.7bn in Assets.

HOW THE HELL IS ROYAL WORTH 50% MORE THAN CARNIVAL..................HOW.................

And today is the perfect reason why it's dangerous to try to day trade.
