Tomorrow, in the UK is Inflation Day, so either it's going to be a good FTSE day, or a very bad FTSE day.!

Considering the rest of the UK Market today, especially across travel, I think Carnival held up exceptionally well, and we got away very very lightly at the end of the day.

I would take a long hard look at Natwest.

I'm not going to give you financial advice, as that would be fundamentally wrong, but, please look.

Sometimes it's better to cut and run on a loss, and re-invest for a gain somewhere else, than be walked downwards.

Just look at Lloyds, it's never going to be a decent SP for many many years to come.

Will they gain, eventually, yes, but banks are screwed at the moment.

Stocks across the travel sector is all at all time lows, and the upsides are huge in comparison.

Look, think, re-think, re-look....then, make your own decision after truly taking a step back, knowing your own investments, and your own financial position.

U.S. stock futures fell early Tuesday, while benchmark Treasury yields approached their highest levels since 2008.

In recent market action:

Futures tied to the Dow industrials, S&P 500 and Nasdaq-100 all slipped, after a Nasdaq-led rally in the previous session.

Ten-year Treasury yields climbed, after settling Monday at 4.181%. The move puts the benchmark yield within sight of its October closing peak of 4.231%. Breaching that would put it at its highest level since 2008.

The U.K.’s FTSE 100 led European indexes lower, after data showed wages rising by a record 7.8%, adding to the Bank of England’s mammoth task of taming inflation.

While China’s economic misfortunes weighed on the nation’s stock indexes, the Nikkei 225 gained after Japan reported surprisingly strong economic growth.

Russia’s central bank undertook an emergency rate hike, after the ruble slid past 100 per dollar earlier this week. The ruble recently traded around 98 to the dollar.

Carnival down 0.83%, but still higher than when we closed, so we SHOULD be green.

But the US is tanking, now over 0.5% down across everything.

Have zero idea what's happening.

It cant be covid or WW3 because we would be 40|% down.

In the last 20 minutes the DOW/S&P/NAS just dropped 0.5%.

All travel being kicked today again........

Looking across the whole of the travel sector, every single stock is down.

Airlines, cruises , package holidays, all of them.

Even onthebeach is down despite its founder buying many million yesterday.

Whether this is just the morning tanking, have no idea.

The only good news is that it is not a "Carnival thing", it's just a travel thing.......

Which, at the height of the money season you can only assume that all the travel stocks are being pushed down to enable the big boys to get in, as the next qtr's results I think for all travel stocks is going to be expectation busting,.........

and yes, it is 3.53am.

Luckily, when it had dropped to 6p, yes, I bought loads to bring down my avg, to 12p, and I sold a large proportion of them when it got back to 12p as a share price, which was approx. 2 / 3 years ago.

We closed at $16.65 and it's now $16.80.

So, for once in several days, we might actually open GREEN (or Blue, depending on which screen you look at.!! )
