So 11c drop, approx. 8p drop like for like in the morning.

and we've dropped over 10%

Somebody is taking a dump with the US travel stocks.

CCL has dropped another 20c since our close.

All US travel falling falling falling.

924.60 = $12.76 = 1.3800..!!

See, it changes.!

Also....

The Brent Oil rate has dropped over 2.3% today, and we have still dropped.........so I think that has put that question to bed now that there is a direct correlation on Brent going up with CCL dropping.

US up, Fear factor now 35/100, Brent Crude now over 2.3% down today, and we have dropped over 30p........!!!!!

BUT.. All cruise lines, and all US travel have nearly identical pattern drops, so it's not a CCL thing either.

Unfortunately it's not the spit rate that's used, it's the Stock Market exchange rate with regards to this share.

It's something to do with the voting right + budget rate + FTSE vs DOW rates.

So the simpliest thing to do is look at the rate now...923.40 vs the US rate of $12.76 = 1.3818.

It changes per day, and it also looks like it changes whether within UK trading vs outside UK trading as well.

Re my post from last night/this morning, I looked at the trading prices on the FTSE and DOW to get the values at the same time. Nothing magic or clever.......I'm not that intelligent :-)

Overnight it closed at $12.85, approx. £9.24, or a 30p drop.

We closed at $13.22, the US closed at $12.92, so a 30c drop.

When it was $12.92 earlier, that was £9.30 for us.

So expect a 24p like for like drop if nothing changes overnight.

Fun being the stock market fiasco, not what is happening is Israel / Gaza.

unfortunately the nightmare unfolding within that region could well get dramatically worse especially as the Hezbollah are also attacking from the west bank.

What could well be even worse is that the US Strike group will be a huge target for them when it arrives, and they have the capabilities to be able to mount a reasonable attack on the US flagship carrier, which would obviously bring the UK and NATO full force into the fold.

Let's hope it doesn't come to that, becauee if it does, yesterdays drop will be a walk in the park.

We started on Monday at 959.40, so we didn't gain back what we lost with the fun yesterday.

Lets hope that it continues to go up after our close.

Royal, which has the same equivalent type debt level in % terms needs 20% to get back to their high from July.

We need 50%...

Even NCL only needs 35%.....

UK FTSE 100 & 250 hugely up - TICK

US Main Indexes all Green and rising - TICK

So the question is, how much are we going to drop by today.!!!!

It closed overnight at $12.63, so 13c only, or 9p to 10p ish at best this morning.

FTSE, Dow, S&P and NAS futures are all green, and Fear Factor is now 30/100.

We need a 22% rise just to make it back to 1100.! or a 50% rise to get back to 1350.

We closed at $12.50, the US closed at $12.70, so a 20c climb after out close, approx. 14p gain.

So basically, they needed an excuse so apparently the geopolitical reasons due to the conflict.......

Economic reasons, got it. Oil increases, got it........ "geopolitical reasons hinted at potential travel disruptions", when the main flights don't go there anyway, and cruise ships just go a different port instead........ come on.......... they need to try to make up different wording.

The Hamas are not an army, the volume of insurgents are small in comparison to the Israel army.

My sceptic side says that Israel let this happen. The amount of tech monitoring the border areas are immense.

I watched a documentary on it earlier this year. It wouldn't surprise me if Israel let this happen so they can once and for all wipe out the Hamas.

The issue is the 2m people who are stuck living there, in the middle of all of this.

The reality though, no different than Serbia/Kosovo is that this is "life" in those areas.

But this, again, just shows you how fragile the stock market is at the moment, all travel has tanked again today because of the Oil price. It's slowly recovering, or still heavily down...although CCL has held way really compared to other travel at the moment.

Cruise ships redeploying to other ports is a normal occurrence for any issue, weather, earthquake, volcano !, hurricane, and war/unrest.
