Bhants.
Of course, if someone timed it right, they would be better off.
If you remember, I decided to spread some of my holding after the major spike, and sold down from my 75k shares at £13.50.....that was hugely lucky, and obviously am now much better off because of that decision, but that wasn;t thhrough a non-belief, that was purely because I had a ridiculous amount in one pot.
Eventually this, like all other stocks will go up.
The banks are being killed, but eventually they will win, as the long run the Interest rates will never get back to 0.25% now, even the BOE have said that was a mistake to leave so low for so long.
When the fixed rates of the low amounts have gone, the banks will make money, but unfortunately it may well be later next year before they start to turn the tide.
I held Lloyds, and made 4p a share and sold out, again luckily I did.
I've been caught out on many though, and unlike other people, I have just sold up and taken the hit and moved on, rather than waiting for it to bounce back.
My biggest regret was Rolls Royce.!
I made money, but boy..... I could have really made money,.!
The same, eventually, will be said about all travel stocks.......
