That's might hefty for a company which has barely made a profit in the last couple of years. Even if you sign up to the 4 x revenue valuation it's getting close to that Still, it would be churlish to complain, but it's might tempting to lock in some profits BB

Hard to say. He's broken through a million and there still seem to be more Sells than Buys so, if it all continues, then he might break 6% ? I'd guess the majority of people who never really wanted SiS shares are out now, so I'm expecting things to quieten down a bit now till the Interims BB

Alf I did. I thought the FF side had a fair chance of crashing and burning so sold up. Ended up buying back into SiS post de-merger. In retrospect I got it badly wrong ! Still no point in cutting my nose off to spite my face by not buying back in here. BB

Hmm indeed. I just got quoted 69p on a dummy sell for 4000 shares. To be honest I wasn't expecting this price rise to continue much but it appears that Mr Harpin ( and / or possibly others ) is prepared to pay more than I'd expected BB

... gone through as well. 50,000 @ 66p ( or 5m shares in old money ). I can't see the MM's giving that price, for that volume without a buyer lined up. Presumably he'll have a target no. of shares in mind and a max. price he's prepared to pay, but we don't seem to have reached either of those yet. BB

Called in at a supermarket this evening and had a quick look. Nothing in the "microcaps article" or, as far as I could see the "British" article either. A quick look in the index didn't show either "Science in Sport" or "Provexis" so I walked away congratulating myself on being wise enough to take a quick peek before parting with any cash. Either I missed something or Stevie boy's been popcorning us, which ( imagine what comes next in Asshur's dulcid tones ) frankly isn't something a CEO should be wasting his time on, that's not what we pay him for and I'm going to report him to the RSPCA and whatever the FSA's called these days :) Bit of a mystery really and, tbh, a disappointment. Alf - I agree, dull is good. Most of my more successful investments are in dull companies which do dull things really well. BB

If you get suspended then so be it. If you get banned, I don't doubt you'd just come back under another id so it makes life easier if we don't have to play "guess the multi" :) I doubt very much you'll report Moonie to any authorities until you've sold up over the road but, heh, I could be wrong. You massively overestimate your influece on SIS. It's a pretty dull company ( sorry Alf ) and is unlikely to appeal to the multi-bagger chasers who might take any notice of what you, I or anyone else says here. i happen to think it's a half way decent investment though, some agree, olther's don't. You should try to stop blaming Moon for your losses, they're your losses, caused by your decisions. hopefully they'll be reversed sooner rather than later. Everyone makes mistakes. Asshur Oh come on, show some common. His ManUtd tweet was in response to a tweet from an avid Manure fan / SIS employee.It was plainly a joke.i'll stand corrected if it turns out to be true and in the public domain as being true. New products are released by companies all the time. Unless those products are hugely revolutionary then that's not price sensitive info. Dialight launched a new more powerful lighting unit the other week which got a bit of a mention in the press but, shock, horror, no RNS. It's the same with new SIS products To be fair, I think you have a point about the sponsorship "news", though I'd be surprised if that turns out to be price sensitive. His tweet yesterday about "Shares Magazine" was probably a bit unwise too, but more from a confidentiality point of view between himself and the publishers than anything legal. Asshur makes some valid points. if Richard Harpin hadn't been hoovering up the shares being sold ( presumably by people who favour the Fruitflow side of the business ) then the sp is very unlikely to be where it is today. I'd also say that blindly following a McKeeve or a Harpin's investment strategy isn't very bright. McKeeve's sat and watched his investment in Provexis fall over the last few years which, even given the fact that his timescales are probably longer than most posters here, must grate a bit with him. Blindly following a Midas tip would plainly have been daft too, especially given the fact that the MM's read the w/e press. Shares magazine is probably a bit different in that i doubt readers would blindly follow a recommendation, they'd DTOR as well, so we might get a bit of extra buying over and above what we would have had. SiS will be valued in a much more traditional way than it's old parent, which will probably make it less volatile and less likely to be influenced by the good and the bad, the rampers and the derampers on the boards. I walked round to our newsagents mid-morning ( blue skys and sunshine btw ). They'd never heard of Shares Magazine, lots of fishing mags though. Not too surprising really, it's grim up North :) BB

Yep, good results and a nice move up in the sp. You should all be glad to know that I sold a few more today. If you look back to my post in January you'll see why my reducing my holding is a good thing, it'll probably be above 280p soon :) BB

No obvious reason why, so I took the opportunity to sell a few. Obviously it'll now be above 200p in the next week or so ! BB

Bit of a mixed bad. Demand dropping in Q4 "percentage volume declines.., in the mid teens" but margins improving. Net debt down to < £200M. Polymerlatex synergies expected to add £14M to 2012 profits and, most importantly ... Full year profits in line with market expectations. Overall, pretty good. Maybe we'll see 200p again before too long ? BB
