I totally agree. However they have to work with others. Otherwise what happens if one of their competitors buys us? They have to have a back up.

Their own DMS could be licensing our (or a competitors) software on their chip as a license deal. I very much doubt they're starting completely from scratch.

I think Smarteye and us have completely different strategies at the moment.

They've raised the bare minumum and cut costs to try and get to profitability with what they've won and are hoping they'll be able to win future business with DMS that meets the standard, but not much more than that. I think they're hoping for a sale once they announce profitability.

We have raised plenty of cash and are investing heavily in future proofing our system in the hope that oem's will want the extra features and pay a premium.

I personally think ours is the winning strategy long-term.

I'm not convinced that's right for aftermarket, but might be an oem solution. Or after manufacture install.

I doubt all existing mirrors will be replaced to provide an aftermarket solution.

Aspers, I'm not researched enough to invest in car makers as I can't predict which ones will be successful or not.

Do you know what production numbers Rivian need to make to justify a $40 billion market cap? And where are these numbers going to come from.

I don't expect there will be a massive increase in total cars sold so who's going to lose market share? And why do you think Rivian is the best positioned new entrant?

Cheap? Their market cap is $20 billion. They sold less than 25,000 cars last year. Good luck but it's not for me.

I have no idea which electric cars are going to be most popular and which companies will become hugely profitable.

I do know that almost all cars will get DMS and we're looking at 50% market share.

So if the Magna license is spread out over 3 years and in 3 years time we decide to renew that licence then it won't be a one off boost.

I'm pretty sure we'll get kpi's with the announcement as well so won't just be turnover figures.

Last year we did just shy of $1.5m usd in Automotive licence fees. We should double that this time.

The December win starts in 2024. So should be a little bit higher than 2.5million next year.

Let's not forget our announced figures are minimum figures. Actual figures should be significantly higher.

Surely your anyone for a takeover poll is ambiguous to say the least. I'm happy for a takeover to occur if it exceeds my valuation of the company. But not below that. Maybe rephrase the question and ask who would be happy at a takeover of 20p. I doubt many long term holders would take that.
