The issue with the buyback is since Lloyd's is in the habit of giving themselves 850m shares a year we are only reducing shares in issue by about 1.5bn even with this buy back. The buyback will probably take 2.3bn shares out. I'd really rather cash bonuses were paid to staff rather than diluting us shareholders by so much each year.

I was in that game too Levi but gave up when they started paying housing benefit direct to tenants. Guess what these toe rags spent it on teles, phone etc not rent. I couldn't see any discernible difference in life quality between mine and theirs tbh. My wife's grand father rented a few properties back in the day, they used to block up the chimney and smoke tenants out when they didn't pay. Certainly the good old days!

Utt the old adage when in Rome do as the Romans do. We are a Protestant country with a robust democratic system (rapidly deteriorating). Multi racial communities are fine so long as there is a clear British culture. The fact we've allowed part of our cities to be set up as provinces of other countries with medieval ideas is a total disgrace. It stems from the lefts love of cultural relativism and embarassing about things like empire, they equate backward cultures with ours. In reality some cultures are better than others, to most ppl that is obvious.
