Thats 2 contracts off a potential 170 NHS Trusts in england alone AND discussions current for further contracts. Bearing in mind its the only approved technology its reasonable to be very optimistic about securing further contracts. We also have to bear in mind SBS has a diversified business model targeting Healthcare, Lifesciences & Pharmabiotech of which the company are european leaders in integral aspects of the lifesciences business. Established robust revenue streams and an expanding market make this a very solid company to invest in in with strong newsflow expectations in the coming months imo

Im not sure but the action were instigated around May 2011 for $110k damages. The company said at the time that it WPI proceedings were 'ordinary routine ltigation incidental to the business' and 'without merit' which they intended to vigorously defend against. Whats more relevant imho is the recent notice from The National Development and Reform Commission from the 4th November 2011 to gradually replace the import and sale of incandescent lamps in the People‟s Republic of China (the “PRC”). As LED sais at the time "Phasing out the incandescent lamps offers a lot of market opportunities for the lighting industry in the PRC. In view of this changing background, the Group targets becoming one of the leading energy management service providers in the PRC." That would be a massive potential market and might be part of the reason why the select investors were willing to pay 2p per share as part of the limited placing just prior to publication of the notice. That and the continuing JV initiatives put the current SP into perspective and why many here are looking for the stock to attain a higher level .

This was way oversold. Im expecting further stong buying next week as people become aware of the legislation in china to phase out traditional lighting sources thereby massively increasing the potential market for LEDs products. With there recent JV link ups and premium priced placing theres a lot of confidence building up for the future of LED Holdings. Weve seen strong buying on any dip which has helped sustain the gains made & should help push the price up further next week imo. o/t TLDH ( mainstream media exposure off the uk icaan conference on the 13th feb) & SBS as well as the T/O decision due on ATD but dyor of course Good luck all

Theres about 170 Acute Trusts in England which make the decisions regarding the implementation of the new cervical cancer screening technology ( BD FocalPoint) offered by SBS. The BD FocalPoint™ is the ONLY automated technology for cervical cancer screening approved for use by the NHS . There currently talking to other Trusts which are expected to yield further contracts towards making this the standard diagnostic method across all the NHS trusts in England & Wales. Shaping up well for some very strong newsflow on contract acquisitions. Thats why we had the director buys recently and the purchase of the head office with major growth expectations in the short,medium & long term throughout all divisions. Definately still holding in ATD and will continue to do so until the conclusion of the takeover talks. LED I certainly see going well above Explicit's 0.53p closing price (prob early next week) and an eventual move towards & beyond the 2p premium price paid for by the select investors. SBS is a great, revenue generating biotech prospect with a low risk attached to it. Very comfortable parking funds there & multiple short term newsflow due. Have a good weekend

This has had a good rise 2day after being way oversold previously. The premium of over 300% paid by informed significant investors in Oct 2011 shouldact as a guidepost to where we can expect the minimum share price to go towards. They paid 2p per share when the SP was just shy of 0.5p so theyd certainly expect it to reach at least those levels. We have to bear in mind that theyd have a better appreciation of the technology & market that LED are targeting. Looking at the trading today any small dip was used as an opportunity for further buying by investors. The SP held up strongly and further evidence pointing towards the previous overhang having been taken up. With that in mind im expecting the price to continue pushing up next week with investors more sure about its sustainability, potentail for the JV deals to realize penetration within the massive china market & the opportunity to get into a genuine multibagging opportunity. Theres a strong speculative component that youd find with all microcaps but ill take the lead of the informed far east investors willing to pay a 321% premium to secure there own shareholding. A good rise today and probably the start of further increases as pi's become aware of the strength of fundamentals here. Unlike a lot of companies in the biotech sector its not heavily debt laden and already has a strong revenue stream from a diversified product base. Its the european market leader in at least one of those with all target sectors growing. Its no wonder weve had recent large director buys and the lilelihood of further newsflow in the near term. With strong fundamentals, revenue stream & newsflow expectations this has tremendous growth potential written all over it and is only now beginning to attract wider investor interest. Very difficult without going through a negotiated trade. Bodes well for when further news comes out which should be consistent as per the last RNS. An extremely strong investment case on fundamentals & still not known by most investors YET dyor on this one. Its well worth it imho

Those 2p buyers were savvy investors with industry specific knowledge. Theyll expect more then 2p back so ill go with them on this one. Very comfortable holding here for the bigger rises

Looks like any overhang has cleared and the price really begining to show solid support to push back upwards past 1p in the short term imho. From there it can look towards the 2p recently paid by the significant buyers. o/t check out SBS for a look

Put this on your blog earlier but worth a quick mention on the board Apart from the solid fundamentals its due some further newsflow as per the recent RNS of the 1st feb. Its well below pi radar atm and seems to have established a solid base at the current price after the rise earlier in the year. There european leaders in the fields of DNA sequencing, genomic services, bioinformatic analyses with a multi targeted business model covering diagnostic testing and cytology services as well as the development and validation of biomarkers for use in new drug research. Further newsflow, below the radar & difficult to get shares at any negotiated price below the full ask. All the makings of a major riser imho

One bit of news on the JV or contracts which there currently pursuing and this begins to focus on the 2p buy price. Until then its getting more awareness as a bona fide investment prospect amongst pi's who have the benefit of not having to pay the 320% premium the recent significant holders had to. Its only the overhang tahts brought it down to these levels & we should get a steady build up towards its previous 0.7-0.9p range until specific contract news starts coming in imho. Until then its about building up a larger holding for me for what i see as a serious multibag prospect

Bought into this as looks like a good solid prospect. Unlike many biotechs this one has a solid revenue stream already established with a leading position in its field. Good recent contracts, director buys, further news expected on BD Focalpoint scanning contracts & asolid strategy going forward make this a great prospect for growth and share price enhancement imho Might even get an RHPS mention one day Good luck all
