Sentiment can be associated with stock specific developments, sector specific factors, the macro economic situation etc All look good for IPSA and bearing in mind the share price is up overall as we move towards the sale conclusion. After the previous delay its not surprising that many potential investors are holding back for clarification rather then taking positions now as was the case with the previous 6p level. Many of us are in now having weighed up the relevant risks & upside/downside scenarios - obviously the $3M already banked helps!

I supposed u missed my mention of LAM here last week - it went up from 92p at the time of posting to circa 115p! A bit like riddlers FTE tip thats risen from circa 1p to around 1.81p - i brought into that & thanked him for it atb

AGREED - an excellent prospect and will ride the giant thats the Chinese economic recovery & growth 20p should be a step towards even higher progression of the sp all in time atb

Low liquidity can give us sharp moves in either direction which is why im invested for a major re-rating of the stock on the confirmation of the sale agreement being concluded. Thats the risk factor here which is holding of many investors atm. However the commitment of the company to get this tied up asap & the non refundable deposit already paid by Iris gives me a lot of confidence in that happening. The last major rise over 6p also saw a similar short but sharp drop so an opportunity for some or an easy wait for the rest of us leading towards the 15th Jan (or thereabouts) timeframe. Would have to agree with you there especially with the limited number of shares able to be freely traded & the effect that will have on the magnitude of any rise - it obviously had the reverse effect on the drop but a change in fortunes occuring. Thats why im comfortable having my holding secure without having to scrabble for shares on any positive sentiment or push. This one will be right back up soon imho

The underpinning behind zak mir's gap fill towards the 300p levels on a 4-6 mth time frame (and contingent on a weekly close above the 200 day line) will be heavy institutional buying as opposed to retail turnover of stock. That'll come from the expectancy of further contract wins as part of the $4Bn bidding pipeline & reintroduction of a dividend revenue stream when back in profitability. Lamprell will look to proactively target Institutional fund managers towards investing in the stock on that basis & with the predictable effect on the share price from the larger purchases made. I'll stand back from posting now but am very confident indeed of this stock achieving the figures indicated in the technical opinion & seen in the recent past

Theres a large & growing depand within there geographical sector and the turbine sale fundamentally changes there ability to capitalise on thatdemand. Not many of the smaller Aim companies can boast of being debt free which will be the case on successful completion of that sale. As you mention the $3.1M non refundable deposit gives a lot of confidence towards that & i believe a strong growth trajectory for the stock looking at the fundamentals of the sector & company.

I got in touch with him re: the delay in communicating the $40M North Sea contract as well as the non communication of the NDC Muhaiyimat jack up rig as part of seperate RNSs - both news pieces were mentioned by myself as many of the regular contributors here will know. I can appreciate funluving's perspective (accepting the confusion between a comapny's secretary & a Company Secretary) but im quite discerning with regards to commiunications sent & received, especially when sentiment & news is corroborated by other independent sources. As i mentioned to evo, i wont be posting regularly here BUT am very confident of a recovery for the company and its share price, with further contract news underpinning that confidence. atb to all.

RNS for the turbine sale extension for the 15th Jan 2013 or thereabouts. Obviously taht would be contingent on approval by Standard Bank & Turbo Care but that seems an ineviatability given the previous consent & the 16th Dec rns stating the position of the parties to complete the sale as soon as possible in any case. A $3.1M non refundable deposit already paid as we know & and transition to a debt free situ & major growth stage for IPSA once the sales concluded.

Thatll be a short sqeeze to accelerate the price upwards when taht happens but not overly interested in what OAM are doing one way or the other. Im very comfortable with my holding especially now with 'official' confirmation of the bank waivers & tighter fianncial controls to improve the cash situ. Had to wait for the 2nd jan RNS for the market notification of the new contract - i thought theyd let us know seperately but obviously they wanted to release the news together. Expect further news re: institutional buying & contract acquisition as part of the $4Bn bidding pipeline - all part of the SP move back to the higher levels many of us are expecting & consistent with the management statement regardingt the companys move back into profitability and growth. atb

Then you had a volume associated with a dropping sp & with an eventual passing of the sales deadline - pretty obvious to many of us the danger signals that were being presented then. I recall mentioning it once on the board at the time after which i stopped posting. The situation now is very different as wil again be obvious to some.

Volume suggests a successful conclusion on the sales agreement which we should find out about 15th jan (or thereabouts). Contingent on the turbine sale being concluded the resulting debt free situ & demand in the region to facillitate growth should see the stock powering forward The price moves initiated in the last few days will confirm a breakout to a lot of people so im expecting a much larger pick up in the volume & price next week - lets see. dyor of course

Good points & massive sector potential beyond the very strong position that IPSA should find themselves in to capitalise on that demand. Thats why im really comfortable getting in at the current price levels for a hold as the company grow there business within the region. We're all in at the start of a major growth story imho Gla
