Personally I dont think it will work , the new investors that brought in at 2p are already quids in and are happy without having to get involved in some out of court settlement with cineplex.

The long term shorters are gone and made a mint , the ones we have left done so on the day the rns sent us into the single digits , they hope the company doesn't survive and won't want to see a settlement.

The lth who you are speaking to , some are gone , some are now prob day trading and all in the knowledge the company couldn't even let us know when the appeal date was set, the last financials indicated things were progressing and while in the past let us jnow of cash runways etc couldn't be bothered to say if trading doesn't pick up next 4 months then what we have just seen will be the result.

If cineworld and cineplex can reach a out of court I would hope that road has already been explored , a few emails from a few disgusted shareholders won't make a difference.

In the past my experience with investor relations hasn't been great , ask something that warrants a positive responce they are all over it , as k something the opposite you will be lucky to even be acknowledged.

As I said I admire the fight , and I enjoy your posts , but I won't be wasting my time on trying to convince cine to do a out of court as little old me will be the last person on their list to please

Shorts burning???????

Have you seen the s.p , the ones that are burned and burning are lth like me.

Now all we see is a daily battle on here between investors having a punt at 2p and shorters who are banking on complete wipeout.

Most investors here have been for a few weeks and most shorters are trying to jump on something they wished they done months ago when the price was worth shorting.

Both sides of the debate couldn't say how many screens cineworld have , where they operate , why we lost the court case , when the appeal is , who the board members are , what debt we are In , what the film slate is etc etc etc.

Instead both sides have took a punt AFTER an event that was a catastrophe to the lth , trust me all the proper shorters that were here a few months back have made decent money and moved on , the rest are simply here for fomo.

I donworry about certain posters on this forum and how their current mindset is , aimmaster for instance in the last 30 days has deramped cine 372 times , when you bear in mind the posts on capita it takes average to 600.

600 posts of the same message , we may of missed his views once , twice but THREE HUNDRED AND SEVENTY TWO.

Add in the mix squid , ocean passage and all the other daily tw8ts along with the one hit wonders I'm sure that amounts to a lot of the same daily B.S.

add all the rampers in the mix who are just as bad its mo wonder this forum os completely ruined.

I'm guessing today's agenda will include
"Bust by the end of the week"
"Debt to high"
"Shares suspended"
"Sell up with something before it's too late"

Etc etc

And .....

What makes things worse is the sad sad individuals who are alledged to not even be invested in this share do this by choice.

Bearing in mind they were in charge of the 2nd biggest cinema chain in the world and includes pre pandemic times I'm sure in comparison to other large companys they will be on a comparison pay packet.

Remember this is regarding their wages not how well they have done in their role.

Had a nice long conversation with a fella coming into the UK to help direct a film called back in action, he's in charge of the photography and lightning etc. Anyway he's done a few big movies including deadpool and the last terminator movie.

During chatting he was telling me they have a motorbike chase in London and a boat race on the Thames, he was excited as he will meet Cameron Diaz for the first time , it will also star Jamie fox who he's met before.

Unfortunately my excitement eased as this action movie will be on netflix , so he works for the otherside, he said its not great in hos work as last figures he saw netflix were losing 200k subscribers a month. And are laying of f a lot of staff

I also spoke about the lack of content currently in the cinemas and asked for his opinion if he feels it will get back to prepandemic levels , (content wise) sadly he thinks it will get a lot better but feels it won't get back to how it was just due to the financial backings films need.

Not a ramp or a deramp and has little to do with cineworld specific , but a good insight to someone who works in the film industry that some not ll invest I here.

Think it was a different bonkers cruis.
