@Spindler - this just in - 1,000oz ("Good Delivery" player stuff ...) bars are disappearing fast (currently one month lead time), that really is the ballgame if/when they go = no physical market and wide, wide open to a default on a claim from CRIMEX.

Re demanding over spot - the reality is that the price isn't the issue, the issue is the lead time to source the metal, period. As you may expect, people in the supply chain do not sit on vast amounts of physical inventory as it's bloody expensive and bloody heavy :)

If an order for a buyer has to go back to a mine for source of Silver then that's likely to be around 2-3 months for delivery.

The bottom line - once the skinny supply channels are dry (and they are) then people are going to be sweating delivery for months which is not a position any business relying on physical silver can let itself get into so I imagine such companies are diving in for six+ months supply right now - hence.

Well that's what I'm talking about - everyone's inputs/costs, no matter what they are, are going north for the very forseeable.

If your output just happens to be typically inversely correlated to the Dollar and/or seen as an inflation hedge then that's the big win.

There's zero chance of anyone's AISC dropping for the forseeable future due to the artificial inflation push by the powers that be.

I suspect the <$100k filter is not to try and push the money to people who need it but to people who will spend it - the last thing the US wants/needs is for people to save it, it needs to go into circulation to boost inflation/stave off deflation.
