so *** packet math says 2025's $63 numbers gave us c210p as an average sp.

at $85 we're c40% above market-lifting cost numbers so perhaps the current sp is about right on that - very simple - basis.

markets have a habit of getting frothy, however, and of course we have no idea if oil will be at $85 net week or $100.

i note the outstanding weekly gap @ 370p - i suspect that kinda number is on the mind of many but let's see.

Remember folks - 2025's numbers came from an average of $63 crude.

Yeah it's not about that mate - the US has ten trillion Dollars of debt maturing over the next year or so and need to create some sustained inflation again to reset the banker's debt ponzi and give them room to get that new debt away, even at the short end where they've now forced to p(l)ay.

Lots of indications, other than the chart, that this is the big one for oil.

SAUDI REROUTES OIL AS GULF STORAGE HITS LIMITS

Saudi Arabia is diverting millions of barrels from the Persian Gulf to Red Sea ports to keep exports flowing amid the Iran war, which has filled regional storage. Five VLCCs have already shipped 10 million barrels from Yanbu this month—three times February’s pace.

Other Gulf producers face mounting storage shortages if the Strait of Hormuz remains blocked. Tanker bottlenecks have forced Iraq to cut output, while Brent hits $80 a barrel amid global supply stress.

Crude @ $78.75 - looks like it's going over the top to me - I like $85 from here unless it suddenly reverses.

Probably sketchy at 280s/290s but let's see.
