The simple reality is that rare earths supply is the Sword of Damocles hanging over the auto, robotics/AI and defence industries of the entire West and China can and will screw them all on a whim. All that's happened in recent weeks is the rest of the World is now awake to that fact - and so is the money.

As said below, the West cannot continue in this vein hence the various critical minerals acts etc to throw money at finding Western sources of the stuff those industries, and national security, rely on.

Neodymium is up c30% this quarter and, ultimately, that's what really counts here.

The US would *NEVER* give up Rare Earths if the tables were turned but they'd also *NEVER* tell you if China had told them to get stuffed ............

Doesn't seem to matter what the price is, the volume is always there.

That likely suggests that the market thinks this is worth way more than it currently is.
