re. I3 energy - i saw 9500 barrels produced mentioned for I3 energy from Canadian aquisition. but was that for the whole month of October 2020 or is it daily production going frwd
looks like entering the 20s next week if not tomorrow. 200 ema looking good on this one
interesting. Cairn might want that 30k bopd too though and they r prob. in a better position to acquire it cash wise. unless they bought more of Kraken and Enq then used the proceeds to fund the deal given that these old field enhancement projects would be more up their street.
voting out Jaap Hijuskes ? You need to do a bit more research on the previous project he oversaw and how it was described by his employèr.
Kimberley Wood is on the board of another Company in the region with a 10 Tcf resource. Who do you suggest replaces them ?
if it closes above 20p, there doesnt appear to be much chart resistance to 50p. Bought some yest
Based on Totals 2 highly successful gas condensate drill results thus far Id be of the personal opinion that the Geological COS for the large Algoa Gamtoos Slope lead is now probably somewhere between 25 and 35% to find something very substantial. I reckon around 200-300 million bbls resource might be a conservative P50 range for this lead. . But im not a spokesperson for the company. IF i recall, It was the 11 Billion barrel P10 upside figure for the Namibian licenses as they were originally configured that put a rocket under this back in 2010 or 2011 .
thought it would have moved 8-10% on yesterdays oil price news. Enq always a day or 2 behind the curve. Someone mentioned Merger or M&A but who would the candidates be ? Anyone think Cairn might want to buy back some production from Kraken now they are cashed up ?
at 11-12000 boepd and v modest market cap shouldnt this be reacting more to the oil price rise ? debt only 50 million or so? 2% is really sluggish
also I believe there is update due in Jan from New Age African Energy on Algoa Gantoos Seismic processing . Maybe we will get a nice surpise re. prospectivity P10 figure for the large slope lead in the southernmost part of the block.
Think the oil price is behind this move. Cameroon drill a whole lot more attractive at 55-60$ a barrel than 30 -35$ 8000 to 16000 boepd potential. And Exxon having Guyana as a core part of their production strategy is a good indicator for elephant hunting exploration in Namibia and Sth Africa. Would be nice to leave the .30s behind
looks good for more gains from this level. maybe to 30p?
Wishing id bought more at 6p now. top upon pullbacks maybe. Outside chance of T/o or M/A target for CAIRN - I believe Trinity have a few hundred million in tax free earnings allowable for offset and Cairn are cashed up now?
From the Evening Standard. Row with investors apparently. At least they didnt try to brush the 2012 share price under the carpet. 41000p or 410 quid. Actually it was 465 quid for a dleetibg moment. "Today the shares rallied 5%, 6.5p, to 129p on news of Harris’s appointment. It hit a low of 68p in October, but was once at a now astonishing looking 41,000p as investors bet that it would become a major oil player"as someone mentioned , New Ceo seems more suited to a downstream role . his former company BG had 650k bopd and about 2.2 Bn reserves and went for 70 Bn $ to Shell
new board member from Svenska whose owner is bothh the 2nd wealthiest African and the 2nd wealthiest Saudi and they are looking to expand beond their core area of operations. Someone else here noticed the phrase " or more" last week in the Rns . I read this ( perhaps in haste ) as an attempt by TRP to get Svenska on board in Cameroon or perhaps Namibia or SA
apologies. thought i saw 8000 bopd on their site a few days ago. 26k better obviously. perhaps if they want to increase production by a significant percentage they will cast an eye over Thali's incremental production potential
Svenskas owner is worth 8 or 9 billion $. 2nd wealthiest Saudi and 2nd wealthiest African in world. There could be something brewing here for Trp. Svenska production 8k bopd and they wish to look beyond their core license areas. and Njonji potential recently hinted at 8 to 16 k bopd. Also Qatar petroleum have a stake in offshore Sth Africa. perhaps other big ME players looking too. Gla its been a frustrating yr
