"We have most of the revolving cash facility left as per the last update and also £91m or so of uncumbered assets to call upon.
Good business if we could pick it up somewhere in the region of £50m"
Propping up and absorbing failing brands, all through funds that Boohoo don't have, and doing it all on the never-never...
Isn't that the exact same mistake that they Boohoo been making for several years? That and the random DC/warehouse/factory open/close folly which also squanders tens of millions at a time? Turning an operating profit into a statutory loss, year upon year.
Can anyone see a link between this recklessness and the current share price predicament? Anyone?
How about first focussing on manufacturing desirable, quality products at competitive prices, and exercising good control of busines finances by being cash positive, and producing an overall year-end accounting profit?
Interesting article, showing the degree to which Shein undercut H&M and Zara on item costs. Boohoo's costs not mentioned in the article, nor in the McKinsey report cited. It would have been better to have had online-to-onnline business comparisons. Summary: Shein aren't just going away. Really.

Counting on an aborted IPO from legislative tightening (human rights or financial or similar) is likely to result in disappointment. Because of 1) the ruin done to the City in recent years, and 2) pro-Chinese views and outright blindness/weakness from some of our most senior politicans with active wooing and campaigning on their behalf, I believe that a Shein listing will be welcomed. For those who don't like what the article says, it can always be dismissed as "propaganda from a failing rag, desperate to boost its flagging readership", until Shein list for real.
"Its not upto me, or anybody else, to moderate my views/opinions to fall in line with what you want as you insist, its upto YOU to filter the several posters you have named you dont want to see for yourself , the same as anybody else. "
Exactly, Daytradenovice. Just a ploy, trying to make people censor themselves. Plain as day.
"Then the solution is the same for all who you claim to speak for then, surely?
The filter feature is there for everybody, i have one (remaining nameless) clown in there myself.
Put in there who you want and be happy."
I've just done a bit of reverse psychology and filtered west6809, so I don't have to endure the endless excuses about not using the feature.
"I repeat, if you dont wish to read a particular posters views and opinions, and its clear you dont which is your choice to make but not dictate, then there is a filter feature there for your use.
Please avail yourself of and use it, you will then never need to see the posters views/opinions whom you dont wish too.
Its not just there for window decoration."
But they won't. Strange, that...
"Bon Scott it was you who posted that the list had been discontinued!"
OK Tradey, so the list lives on. Whoopdeedoo. All the same, people still remember you as regularly occupying the top 2-3 posters by volume, on account of your near-permanent pumping and belittling of others.
Buffaloben, from what I saw (at least before I popped out), the thread was mainly an embarrassing takedown of Tradey 1 & 3, i.e. Spunk and Bfd. If looking for the user who got most of that thread wiped out, Tradey (all three of them) would be my prime suspect.
Lifeless... Mahmud is chucking his cash at other investments rather than this turkey. Even Big Mike The Lord And Saviour seems to have lost interest. Coasty, I hope all these returned clothes start generating some serious profits soon, as you've so confidently claimed.
"Daytrade I'm intrigued, is there a "top five" list by volume on here. I'd be interested to see the link.
All I've ever seen is a "most recommended", which for a brief period I was #1 on. "
Tradey, you know fine well that you were consistently high on the list of prolific posters by volume, on account of your persistent pumping of this stock and non-stop vitriol toward others. Shame they discontinued the list. Maybe your thirteen thousand mostly abusive posts in three years had something to do with it. If you take that as a badge of honour, that speaks volumes.
"You knob bone head"
Loving your profanity-double-noun combo. Full marks for creativity.
"the minimum double digit below 77p is at most 69.3p, simple maths. But of course I never gave a figure so it could be lots lower."
Of course it's lots and lots lower, honest guv! Wink wink! All that super day trading has already broken you even, no doubt.
"Only a fool would judge my investments by the Bb I may have posted on."
Yet that's precisely what you do to others. Hypocrite of the highest order.
Tradey / Bfdinvestor, you fail to mention that you yourself were past thirteen thousand (mostly abusive) posts when you were banned by LSE. Please add your previous hi-score to your current 1,017 posts of tripe before throwing shade on others.
You're definitely on to something, Daytradenovice. Who on earth tries to obscure their breakeven price like that? I ignored it the first time he posted that, but he's obviously at great pains to broadcast his investing brilliance while also disguising that he's locked in at "only" 70p.
Claims not to wish to gloat, but goes on to gloat anyhow. Abusive, evasive, and a bit insecure too.
Bravo, Spidey. Summed up beautifully.
Absolutely no sign of positivity from the company itself, just bizarre promises of future glories because "Big Mike", "UMAR!!!" and "Rolls Royce".
Coasty and his boss Tradey are outright conmen, with weak hangers-on like Spunk6999 and unclue_dog listening avidly to their every word.
Well isn't this just awesome. Tradey 2 and Tradey 3 agreeing with themselves (or himself) that Boohoo will roar back into to success because everyone will pull together and Shein will, er, just go away. Incredible analysis.
"And to think 'we dont like' repeated links on here, do we fanboys?"
According spunk6999, our beloved board bobby, the authorised link posting limit is two. Any more than that and he'll thcweam and thcweam until he ith thick. It's OK if coasty pastes the same tiresome guff dozens of times though. Favourites and all.
"business returning to profitability in FY 2026"
But, but, I thought rainbows and pots of gold were just around the corner? Is there an emoji for a bottom lip quivvering?
More and more people realising the blazingly obvious, which is that recovery ain't coming anytime soon. It has even dawned on Level5. So that'll have been a half-decade of irresponsibility, stagnation and lost opportunity.
Just shows: never, ever listen to the total nonsense that tradey and his concubine coasty. And it is nonsense. Utter garbage from the two of them.
"There is most definitely a plan, growth will follow. SP and business aren't the same thing"
That has to be one of the most outrageous claims I've ever read. The share price would never have been decimated to the extent that it has, if the business performance had been better. A pure, 100% tradey classic. One for the ages.
"UK markets massively undervalued
Another excuse as to the woefully bad share price.
Same old tosh and it's the markets fault again.
Rampers eh looking for an excuse"
It's the economy, stupid!
