Tradey, credit to you, you do make a good point about Ashley perhaps being an ever worse propositon. We do however have a promise from him to turn the business around. More detail in his proposal is vital though. He may well lose the undecideds without providing this detail. If he loses the vote and attempts a takeover, he'll be on a revenge mission and the group will likely be butchered.

Staggering losses continue despite you claiming an imminent and triumphant return to profitability.

Yet more exceptionals despite you claiming that there wouldn't possibly be any more.

Substantial dilution despite claiming that this would never happen. Nooo, you said. Of course not!

Well Spidey, the management do have form for this kind of behaviour.

What kind of management team opens a hugely capital intensive "game changing" distribution centre only to watch it languish and close it down a year later, without having even given it a full go with all brands? And what's more, what kind of management team sits on this seemingly alarming situation from August 23, through the May 24 results and round to August 24, and reveals nothing to key stakeholders about this underperformance until the very day they pull the plug?

No surprise to me if they're hiding things. It's a hypocrisy where us mug shareholders are prevented from knowing crucial information, yet somehow are meant to accept that the board is "committed to open and transparent engagement". Insert generic, insincere corporate doublespeak here.

Let's see how bad these results are, whenever they can be bothered to release them.

This dodgy Issa Brothers tribute act appear to be actively plotting to stiff shareholders for their own gain, and it seems that many here are arriving at the same conclusion, Frasers included. Surprised you haven't attempted to link Hexam to these developments.

Possibly because the management of this company has an uncanny ability to inflict countless devastating losses, wasted investments and decisions motivated by greed and self-interest. Big Mike and Shein are just unconfirmed prospects. Nothing concrete. All of this gives scope for the share price to fall further. Shorts will be the first to get wind of the situation changing, no doubt.
