FED1, I think a few other significant investments also need to be factored into that calculation:

1. Daventry distribution centre

2. Thurmaston lane (i.e. the much heralded model factory)

Both miserable failures and abject examples of poor capital allocation. In my book, that puts the success rate at a measley 36% (4 of 11).

Can't even see it being worth that - yet another rudderless, loss-making brand in its death throes. I shudder to think how much debt will be on it's books specifically, or how what will have to be written off (such as inventory) new owners. Who would be idiotic enough to pick this up?

Oh dear, backpassage thinks that anyone with a less than rosy view is simply a troll. A tradey-like view if ever I saw it.

What backpassage isn't capable of realising, is that share price appreciation is only possible through a Credible Plan, company stability and profitability, none of which are offered at present, and neither of which look likely in the future. The damage done is too great, I fear. Instead, he his ilk retreat to the fantasy of the share price somehow rising as if by magic, the board somehow becoming honest and Shein somehow disappearing. Good to dream, I suppose!

Share price to close in on 500p. This based on how easily it rocketed past 100p last Christmas and surpassed 250p this Christmas, exactly as predicted. Ain't that right, HappyInvestor101?

Well, with no salary being taken (this year ahead at least), I can't help but have a lingering suspicion that the offloading of all these vanity assets at knockdown prices will have later be revealed to have a super shady angle to it all.

Time and again you've belittled others' opinions, contributions, thoughts, and virtually every time, you've been left with egg on your face. This year alone, you've proven that you can't read an RNS properly, don't quite grasp what a statutory profit is, hugely underestimated the losses from the Soho vanity purchase, completely misjudged impending dilution, and the list goes on.

If you don't want to be continually shown up, then don't keep agitating for a fight and try to be a little less judgemental. Tell you what, let's be kind and buy each other Christmas gifts. You get me a Credible Plan, and I'll get you a chill pill.

So, tradey, you went into an absolute meltdown the other weekend, claiming that the Soho office would never ever approach £20M, fud, idiot, moron, shorter, uninvested, etc. So it should rather suprise you today to discover that the office which was bought for £72M has been sold for a mere £49M. A mere £23M loss on one of the vanity purchases. And this is even without considering any other expenditure. Squandered.

You're an absolute pro when it comes to getting it hideously wrong!

Pretty obvious (to all who care to open their eyes) that the Credible Plan will be to foist an almighty dilution on long-suffering shareholders. Why now deviate from the death spiral financing playbook when they've stuck to it so faithfully for the last three years?

They have a Credible Plan, PaniV2, haven't you heard? The board won't tell us what it is of course, and certainly won't implement any changes either. But it's a Credible Plan nonetheless. Meanwhile, in the real world, the share price resumes its slide back into the mud.

You're a character, tradey, you really are! We all know you're into this turkey with absolutely everything, so will you still be so full of yourself when administration comes? Make no mistake... administration is what lies ahead, not the success of the mythical Credible Plan.

No, he certainly isn't. Coasty was a staunch supporter of the board, right until the last. But has clearly run out of patience with the board's conduct and the shady stuff that they're up to. Added to which the horrors of dilution, the wage bill, balance sheet and debt wall. You're so far off the mark, trying to say that the share is in recovery. Still 90 percent down from the highs.

I ask you again, O Jog On, and maybe this time you could answer: In what way has the management of the company benefitted shareholders in the last three years?

It continually surprises me that nobody seems to realise it.

Simplistically it's like this, with a focus on 5 brands rather than 13.

1. Make Boo super efficient operationally. Which they have kind of done.

2. Grow Debenhams and Karen Millen as they are better margin and not direct fast fashion businesses.

3. Grow the youth brands by market place and community models.

4. Reduce debt.

5. Grow the US by partnering with third party retailers. The deal that Nastygal did a few months ago is the first of hopefully many.

So it isn't a case of there not being a plan, it's more a case of is the plan credible."

So at the end of all that, they don't have a credible plan and are just chucking out nondescript and largely unmeasurable guff. More of the same.
