I am sorry to say Larry that little SNG must push this through phase 3 trials. Not only that but the numbers of people taking part need to be higher than just a hundred or so. The fate of this vital therapeutic lays in the hands of the BOD and Richard Marsden and not the Government. That is just reality I am afraid.

I feel sure that RM has started the wheels turning of the phase 3 (pivotal trial) and that he will endeavour to find as many participants as possible. At the same time he will no doubt be talking to partners about possible deals. Without a helping hand this looks likely to drift on beyond May 2021 as that is when the trial ends.

This is becoming a mid to long term hold for me and I think most of the rainbow chasers will be long gone by then. This drug will work, it will make it to market and will be monetised. Holders just need to conform their thinking to the reality of what is actually happening and more importantly the amount of time that will take. Only then can one rest easy and feel relaxed with the investment.

Me, I wish SNG could get approval tomorrow so that people could receive the drug straight away. It would no doubt save many lives. The reality is it will take a long time. I will hold for as long as it takes.

The science at SNG is somewhat straightforward but also rather brilliant. My fear for SNG is lack of funding, so hopefully they might be able to cut a deal somehow and get the drug through stage 3. That is unlikely to happen before May 2021 IMO unless big pharma are feeling generous. I believe the SP is likely to drift, hence why I have taken most of my profits from there and parked them with SCLP.

Thanks for your full response. This was the reason I posted the article to see if there was more to interferons than I was aware of. For instance I had not looked at interferon gamma before now. Following your post here I have a better understanding of the basic principles of interferons and immune response. I am still learning and I appreciate the effort you and others make to help me better understand the science here. I have lots of reading to do!

COVID effectively switches off the bodies ability to produce interferons as part of its natural immune repsonse. Now as you may or may not know, there are trials underway that are looking at reintroducing interferons by:

Injection as is normal for treating MS.
Nebulizer so that interferons can be introduce directly to the lung.
Nazel droplets direct to the nazal passageway.

I have posted below a link to Dr John Campbell who asses Synairgens recent succesful phase 2 trail results. This is not a ramp of that stock as I actually have my reservations about how they intend to get phase 3 sorted. They certainly have along way to go before approval. I am actually interested in the science and moreso what you all make of it. Further I am trying to get my head around the science here which seems far more complicated.

I don't get it. Not a mention of trials in the UK. Ok, I don't expect them to plug the drug or SNG but they don't even mention our outstanding results. I think the news items are right. COVID vaccines and therapies are becoming nationalised and the great US of A will save the world and ignore little Britain. Sorry for whinging but I think it stinks.

Yes I have a small Isa holding Sng and bigger in SIPP so all the best on that one. I back SCLP over next two weeks as they have 3 deals in the oven, however they are most likley using old entish as the language of choice. Nothing is ever quick with them.

Got into VAL 22p after Saint - Tropez ramped it on here. He is the king of the Rampers but he also has good judgement IMO, especially his timing. I sold out before news at 56P. I know what a fool am I!

I found ALBA about a month ago and loaded up, looks decent beside the rampers.

Thanks to Score I got into DNL and I concur with others it looks to be mightily impressive although eye wateringly expensive! I just wish I would have got in at Scores price which I am guessing was pennies? Anyway Eva, should we treat Score, I was thinking about a case of Volvic?

I think you all know that I follow Scancell, I have amassed 120,000 shares and feel very excited about this one.

I have seen you around for a good while here and there. Might I make a suggestion that you investigate SCLP. Don't invest, just go and read the boards, watch the webinars and presentations. Listen to the quality of the postings. I have loaded up there at 7p and have doubled my money but they are a long term play. May take a year or two but it will be mind blowing.
I have loaded up here and just pop in occasionally, lets see what happens with COPL.

All good as far as I can see but the day to day SP doesn't really matter with what we have lined up. The trend for pharma stocks will benefit us as people begin to realise the quality we have here.

I would say don't engage with peops like Petrodollar. I had no clue he was slandering SYME until I too saw him preaching to his little mates on COPL. Well, that is two boards he is ruining. Something should be done about disruptive people like that!

That seems to be the issue with Imm. People have tactics and ambitions that are not aligned with the reality of what the company is doing. Of course it is not always clear what the company is doing lol, sometimes it is best to wait and see.
