I agree that this will drop further in the very short term, certainly under £1. But by the next couple of weeks it will be slightly over £1 to £1.30 for the foreseeable. It is really important that people are realistic. There has been a lot sold today and that will continue for the coming days before it settles.

Still a lot to play for here and if you believe in the science you will ignore the day to day.

That is one hell of a price correction and whilst some may call it cruel, I think it will have flushed out the rainbow chasers. The price will recover over the next year or so. Give this a further 2 to 3 years and it could be very interesting.

Interesting views on ODX. Have you looked at ANGLE Plc. I found them before you mentioned DNL to me and I think there are many striking similarities between that stock and this. FDA approval due in March 2021, excellent peer reviews and feedback seem to make a persuasive case. Certainly worth some more research IMO.

Read the RNS. Look at the P values...

The CEO is turning the business around. That will take time and if he expects to be in profit by the end of the year that is good enough for me to hold till then.

You do see this quite often. Good news does not always deliver the SP people were hoping for (hope, not sure if that is my first rule of investing). Anyway, people will either hold or sell on the news. You would think that RG is different as he intended to sell which is fair enough. It is when a holder wakes up and has a lightbulb moment to cash in early on a FDA approved drug, that's a little weird...

I am in DNL and that has just received FDA approval and has other drugs in the pipeline. It has some distribution deals for US and other territories. I appreciate that we are not comparing eggs with eggs for many reasons but I think based on my experience there, 60 to 80p in the run up to approval might be realistic.

I also have a question, do we think that approval will take the usual 10 months or are the circumstances somehow different for Angle.

I am sorry to say that VAL201 did not cut the mustard. That is either because it did not prove to be effective enough, or the design of the trial did not allow for more significant dosage which would have demonstrated effectiveness and efficacy. In any case, we will now have to wait for more trials to find out what we hoped to fond out from this trial.

I don't think there are any bad guys in this scenario, although a speeding ticket might have been sensible and stopped people getting over excited.

Considering the pipeline that VAL have here, this story may yet have a happy ending.

Hemogenyx was my first. Bought in at 1.9p. Made £3.6k and didn't know what to do. Watched it disappear by the end of the day. Lesson learnt but I managed to get my holding on a free in the end. Not that I think it will ever do anything.

VAL delivered flat results on its latest clinical trial for VAL201. It proved itself to be safe but ineffective. That is a crying shame as it wasted everybody's time and money. It may yet prove to be safe and effective but only time will tell. I would guess that as many as half the retail investors just don't understand the science or the consequences of that result. Maybe they will do better with VAL401?? No matter what, remaining invested in that stock becomes so much more of a bigger gamble. Not dissimilar to our holding here. If we get the result we though we might, then IMM will have turned a new page and we all start afresh. I really hope that is the case as the world needs drugs like Lupizor.
