As soon as there is news that could materially affect the share price, it has to be released as an RNS to the public. Therefore, the amount of time the board can sit on information is extremely limited, about a day at best. However, they will obviously know that deals/takeover bids/news is coming in the near to mid-term, and they are allowed to act on that while it is still up in the air...

And that's just the board members' trading.

Why not just buy & hold? Sometimes sitting on your hands and doing nothing is the hardest investment decision to make, but the most profitable!

Thanks to all of you who attended the EGM and are posting your thoughts, it makes for some good discussion :)

Nothing to say specifically about the ENET situation, but I have been a shareholder in other companies where large shareholders failed to disclose dropping below notifiable limits (and not reported until many many months later), and other times when a company would drop from, for example, 5% to 3%, and fail to notify at 4% because they claimed it was all part of one large combined sale.

So, if there is some skepticism over 5G's motives, then maybe it's because we have been duped before. Prepare for the worst but hope for the best!

Hopefully it's someone in the anti-AAA camp, rather than Candy again.

The only ENET "double taps" I want to see are the ones in my luxury suite at the hotel where we gather to celebrate the £5 party.

It seems like pro-AAA (Candy) and anti-AAA (Tobin) sides are jockeying for position.

I'll support any offer that pays a real £££ value. No cash+shares.

AAAC shares still haven't relisted, so BOOM shareholders would be currently left with £2.

Yes, a good update. Exactly what I wanted to see.

This is an emerging market, and I want ULS to spend now to expand and develop its product and get it into as many niches as they can. I want to see them putting that £23m in the bank to sensible use. It's a land grab, and ULS have a good product and a great management team.

ULS still under the radar of PIs, but it will come if the business continues to progress.

Just goes to show Friday's sell-off was ridiculous. Who doesn't believe this company isn't going to hit 80p in the near to mid-term?

I'm totally happy with my Black Friday Sales purchases at 49p and 46p to add to my long-term hold.

I bought a little more on Thursday at 9.80, but I wonder if this is one of those situations where I'll look back and think"Why didn't I sell everything and put it into BOOM?"

Profitable company, growing company, in an expanding sector, subject to takeover bids, with massive CEO buying. The signs are all there.

While nervous PIs panicked on Friday, I bought some more ENET at 48p and then later on at 46p.

This'll be 60p before too long. Black Friday Sales :)

Fairview, you have to remember that today's big panic drop is not led by IIs, but PIs, who panic like a herd when others panic.

It is said that 90% of PIs lose money in the stock market, this is because they buy high and sell low. When shares of good companies, like ENET, drop in value, people don't buy more, they panic and sell. Herd mentality.

Today's drop is not specific to ENET, there are panicking PIs across the markets. Most of my shares are embarrassingly down.

I'm sitting still and holding tight to my ENET!

If the auditing query turns out to be much ado about nothing, then the share price will eventually return to the 30s.

The problem in the short-term is the uncertainty, and the fear that Grant Thornton have presided over another Patisserie Valerie type scandal, and that DX have been cooking the books.

Continuing to hold... for now.

£40,000 isn't a small buy in my book :)

But the fact the director is spending this money when he already has a million shares suggests he is fairly positive about what is coming down the pipeline.

Massive sale went through on Friday, 300,000 shares sold for £160k.

More big round numbered sales this morning, £10k and £20k, as well as a further £11.2k.

Is this from a separate big seller, or are IF not maintaining an orderly market now?

Directors don't buy more shares on the open market just to flip them for a 10% profit. They either buy for the short-term because there is the possibility of a take-over, or they buy for the long-term because it's a solid investment.

Michael Tobin's frequent, and large, purchases suggest the former. It's like he's using every spare bit of cash to add as soon as he can. Someone over the summer described it as "raiding his kids' piggybanks" to pay for more :)

I'm holding a hefty stake, and not selling a share.
