So the Orinduik licence expires on Tuesday. What do the more knowledgeable people out there think about this. Will an extension be granted. Surely that should have been announced by now. What is the likely affect of an extension and no extension. Is an extension just a formality. I don't know. Any views?

I bought 100K at 9.00 this morning at a price of 6.7086 and it is showing as a sell. It shows that you cannot take too much notice of the trade history

22.5p paid for 200K shares. Obviously a buy unless it is a delayed trade from days ago but I doubt it as shares jumped at the same time.

I am sure there are many institutions watching this, for the selling to end, and are ready then to step in. No one wants to catch a falling knife but the buying will be significant I believe, when the sellers are exhausted. There will have been many able to take a good profit if they bought below £1 so it is not surprising to see this, particularly as crystallised profits will flatter those year end reports. I am not in the least bit concerned.

Interesting closing auction with the uncrossing trade recorded at 22p, about 7% above where it had been trading. Decent volume too in that auction of £42000. I admit to not really understanding the closing auction but always seems good that a bidder is willing to pay above the odds. Maybe betting on news from Guyana, if indeed they are meeting there this week.

The time for Ceres has come. Data centres will account for 9% of all electricity consumed in the UK by 2030. That is huge. Electricity grids are quoting up to ten years for a connection. Data centres are happy to pay a premium. It is not about cost. Those electricity supplies are needed now and using Ceres technology can be up and running in three months. I bet the phones are ringing off the hook. Buy and sit on your hands, never mind grizzly shorting 1.28% of the shares. Who cares. They will move on next week and that means buying to close their positions

I am somewhat surprised that there is still a degree of profit taking given that the likely next catalyst is next week.

Gil stated in the RNS "Following a joint visit by our teams to Guyana later this month, we expect to gain clarity on our work programme and appraisal plan for Orinduik."

Given that later this month, most likely means next week because of the Christmas holidays and the number of people in the teams, I would not be selling as a boost to the share price is very likely if the work program is announced as it is likely to be to avoid leaks, That sort of information has to be put into the public domain once it is available.

Thank you Neil. I thought it would be someone like that. I think this short attack goes a long way to explaining the sustained falls over the last few days prior to today. Obviously those involved knew this was coming out and have been selling short in advance. Should be illegal in my opinion but I am confident it will recover. They have to buy to close to crystallise their ill gotten gains of course.

Why te sudden drop this morning? Anyone see any news?

"The teams are meeting in Guyana latest this month" Next Friday is 19th Dec so I would expect the meeting to take place next week. If a timetable is announced I would expect that to provide a fresh boost for the shares. Yesterday's profit taking was inevitable and welcome. Hopefully we will see fresh buying in anticipation of next week's catalyst, if I am correct on the timing of the meeting.

Some profit taking is inevitable. A rise from 7p to 25p in a few day. There is bound to be profit taking. On the other hand we know Gil is meeting Navitas before Xmas. Could be anytime and we should get a further boost from that so dangerous to be out. I am sitting back and relaxing rather that trying to second guess the short term movements. We can be confident the trend is up so why take the risk.
